Latest CNA news...police tightening regulations regarding massage
parlours in HDB estates. Our beloved TN shops will definitely be
affected, understand new regulations are coming into effect as
soon as next week.

Why are they only taking action now when they know that over 500 TN shops have been registered over the past year ?

It shows that cos of public reaction after the recent murder then they act ...

Before this, they "close one eye" ....

Dont forget, its the Gahmen that issue all the PRCs with visa etc to come here .... so they have known it all along...

You are somewhat rite bro ... The authority definitely know what is going on inside the rooms of the TNs. Most of the time, the AV will only take action if there is a complain from the public. The government does not wanna be too restrictive in people making a living. If their policy is too tough, people will have problem financially and will likely lead to a lot of social problems. This will in turn becomes a burden to the nation economy as a whole.

In fact TN is not at all an illegal business in the eyes of the law but just that when the massuse offers "seedy" service to the clients, it violates the company act law. I would think there will still be TNs in Singapore but business may taper off for the next few months. I really hope that those standard H/Cs will not be affected by the new ruling ...

The Police and its AV Dept, Lisencing Dept and probably Immigration Dept would definitely be stepping up checks on these joints.

Aiyah, the authorities have known about it a long time already lah. The cops are also men what. The thing is, nobody care about it until this uncle stab the masseuse at the HC story. Most of the pple who will complain are the wives, i suspect.

In Malaysia, the wives complained to the government about the PRC charbor coming in and "stealing" their hubbies... nobody asked them to think about why it's so easy to "steal" their hubbies anyway...

Worst thing is there are some Singaporeans who will make noise only because it is politically correct - these are the ones who really have something to hide! the ones who complain loudest are the ones with most to hide.

It will blow over, just like everything else. Don't think the service at the HCs will change much, just that the girls will be more careful who they offer them to...

so the wise thing now is to avoid TN...you wouldn't want to be caught with your pants down...now that leave us with only HC and GL and of course the FL...

Hope they dont extend their raids on HC and GL as well. Gosh, so much happening in Singapore these days? BEcause of the PDMM who dies in Ang Mo Kio or the 500 new establishments?

HC all along have raids. GL legal houses no raid cos the govt is the one who is legalize it so why raid? FLs maybe a bit difficult.

THey raid in Geylang for FL. Believe me, I seen it before, the vans come and all the gals run for cover. Some, the pimp simply just take them to hide, some smarter ones take cover by sitting down with a group of man, pretending to be their GF. Hoping that they dont give her away.

I know in Balestier, some even knock on resident doors, asking them to let themselves in to escape police. End of the day, I suspect the AV has the gals in their sight, before sending in the vans. They must have " targeted" the gals already. It is difficult to run away if that is the case.

It is a not a nice experience, but there is something to learn from it.

i think SBF bro who are TN luver going to have hard time man. KNN all becos of 1 MF cos the trouble. My favourite one come back from china also darenot work. Her shop was crowd by reporter everyday cos it was formerly operate by xiao hong.
