Do u have to show NRIC to book a room?

Dear old birds,

Well, to raise this question means I hope someone can answer it in negative.

Do we have to produce NRIC, PASSPORT, CPF statement and SingPass? Is there a way to get it anonymously?

Thanks.

Hi bro...as per your request, here's the model answer in a negative style to act as your reference...You don't need NRIC, PASSPORT, CPF STATEMENT NOR SINGPASS to book a hotel room...Such things are meaningless to the hotel staff nowdays....

However, do bring along your Birth cert (your parents' name to act as guarantor in case you bonk and run w/o paying the FL)....Your latest Income Tax assessment or your bank statement to prove that you have the means to bonk a FL (I think there is a minimum benchmark, do check with IRAS or the bank for clarifications).....Your student pass if you are still schooling so as to get discount from the FL (subsidised by your school)...I think thats about it....

Oh yes...most importantly, do get a receipt from the FL to claim for your income tax rebate for your next year assessment or your parents can claim on your behalf if you are still schooling...

Smile Re: Do u have to show NRIC to book a room?

Dear Bro Sinopeppy,

Sorry to see that some of the bros decided to make fun of your simple request for assistance. The answer to your question is yes, you have to show your NRIC to book a room (2-hours / transit room). Same thing whether you book a room in Geylang or elsewhere (like Hotel 81).

It has nothing to do with you not paying the girl. But the hotel need to register everyone staying in their hotel, so don't worry about it. Off course, in case of a civil suit (eg. your wife wants to sue you for divorce), the hotel may provide a record that you booked a transit room on that date/time.

Happy bonking. Just take care.

Re: Do u have to show NRIC to book a room?

you need to produce your NRIC for all hotel booking. Last time i remember H81 have a membership program which they give u a membership card which you just need to produce whwn checking in, but now they change the system liao.

Or you can go to those small hse which you need to pay $10 and i don't think you need to product any IC
