An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:

PAP keeps saying they wages cannot go up unless productivity rises. But will wages go up simply because productivity rises?

Productivity gains does not translate to wage increments but why does the pap keep insistiing on productivity gains to raise wages? Because they refuse to do other things that will help Singaporeans gain higher wages like cutting off cheap sources of foreign labor. Implementing minimum wages and allowing independent union. So instead of doing these things, they blame low wages on workers' productivity,

It went into an unequal wealth distribution that concentrated money in the hands of those on top and the pap is doing nothing to bring about fairer wealth distribution... In the last 2 decades they have so much to make things worse turning Singapore into the most unequal society in the developed world
