Something broke in him. Passion? Desire? Hunger? We'll never know
He will never be the same again like the first 2 years in Liverpool. Just like Mickey Owen, strikers have never fared well when they left.

Class act in the past in every sense of the word except his character and his loyalty.

We do have a history of returning strikers who did decently well for us in the second spell. Rush, Fowler, Bellamy. I think if Torres returns and scores many goals, Liverpool fans will forgive him for leaving. I wonder if Torres regrets leaving. He doesn't seem like he is enjoying himself as Chelsea.

Verdict into Luis Suarez's alleged racist abuse of Patrice Evra delayed
The Football Association has said there will be no verdict on charges Liverpool's Luis Suarez racially abused Manchester United's Patrice Evra until Tuesday 20 December at the earliest.
This week's hearing, which heard claims Suarez used derogatory language in a confrontation during a match at Anfield on 15 October, started on Wednesday.
The FA added that the Independent Regulatory Commission would work through the weekend.
A verdict had been expected on Friday.
Suarez has been supported by his club in his denying the charge.
The 24-year-old striker told media in Uruguay that he "called him something his team-mates at Manchester call him".
The hearing, in front of a three-man panel, started on Wednesday and both players were expected to give evidence which could revolve around different cultural interpretations of any term used by Suarez.
Evra made his claims immediately after the match and was quoted as telling French TV station Canal Plus: "There are cameras, you can see [Suarez] say a certain word to me at least 10 times."
The Frenchman reported his complaint after the game to match referee Andre Marriner who included it in his report.
Suarez is facing a separate charge from the FA over an alleged abusive hand gesture he made as he left the pitch following Liverpool's 1-0 defeat by Fulham on 5 December.
