Re: Hanoi
Dear bros in Hanoi,
I've just been informed by my company in Sillypoe that I have been posted to Hanoi on a permenant basis. I have a few questions that may not be relevant for this thread or forum, but I hope that kind bros can help and not flame me. As a newbie and being left on my own devices, I need help on the following: 1) Accommodation I'm on a really miserly package, so those serviced apartments are out. I guess I have to settle in renting rooms. I believe that should cost around 200sgd to 400sgd. (yes, based on what I'm getting, that shld be all I can afford). Anyone has any contacts of nice landlord that wants to let out a room long term? (Is there also a need to pay x months of rental upfront?) Any bros with advice on this? Much appreciated. 2) EPL I know this sounds silly, but I can't live without the weekly dosage of EPL action. Anyone who knows any place that screens live games, would appreciate it if can share here. I think for a start, these 2 areas are most important. I am not exactly a cheongster, as I can't hold my drinks well.. Just usually had the std massage plus optional HJ in some massage parlours in HCMC before... Any help renedered is much appreciated. Happy New Year to All bros!!! Rgds, Lugi

That's a really good idea!!! But first, got to find a baxa first.... But on hindsight, not that great an idea as that will limit me to just her...

Re: Hanoi
And here we go again.....
My advise to Lugi is this.. just go to Hanoi with ur problems and without ANY SOLUTIONS. When u reach there, just check in any cheapo local hotels first (if need help I can arrange for you US$20 per night). Then go to any road side stall to eat beef kway teow and lament to the auntie about your problems... and magically ur problems will be solved bcos she will ask u to bunk in her house with her pretty young daughter. I am not even joking about this... i keep getting all kinds of offer when I pretend to be in a hopeless situation in all kinds of places.. for example, noodle stall, motor bike repair shop, fried tofu stall, and while even just sitting by the lakeside. By the way, I am not handsome and overly fat (which is why i need a name like Deptrai... in school, those ugly girls always named as Mei Li). So if any of you guys meets me, surely u will think "If this fat ugly man can charm those girls, surely I can do better!". So take my advise... share ur woes freely with any wealthy road-side beef noodles stall and soon u will have too many choices. If all else fails, PM me ur arrival details with specific area of help u needed about 1 to 2 weeks before u arrive and i see if I can arrange for someone to welcome u at the airport with opened legs... uhmm... i mean opened arms! |

Re: Hanoi
"Hahaha you cheeky fellow. So how many baxa you have in Vietnam."
See bro Botar... our Bro Dept has the same suggestion and event pointed the 'how to'.... but sadly, I don't have baxa yet.... company always arrange me to stay in hotels.... Maybe if I can find some work to do in VN, then a baxa or baxas will help my lonely didi. |

Haha, like the Viets would say, "You joking me !!!" However, seems like a good idea.. however, will only choose 1) Food stalls that serve yummy dishes AND 2) Have a young pretty lass manning it So bros, if anyone of you see a young turk with receding hairline trying to get free meals and meat from some road side stall, come over and say hi. Ok, I read a little hint in your message.. "Leave Singaporean Mentality" behind... Nevertheless, thanks for the suggestion.. Ok, that's all for now... Cheers!
