You might want to try a good proxy program if you have not considered already. Very useful to see sites that are blocked in certain countries. Does Singapore block many sites?

Thailand blocks some but using proxies makes it easy to bypass the censorship.

My favorite proxy program is called Hide IP Easy because you can choose what country you want your proxy IP to be. Japan is one of the countries you can choose.

Well on a sad note for me, I am leaving Japan soon. Had some unforgettable sessions with some newer Mistresses that were some of my best experiences ever.

Was in tokyo last week and went to bar Amarcord. yes using hide ip easy, i was able to see smqr in it's formal glory, but it bring my internet speed to a crawl. is that normal for this software?
