putting players like spearing and poulsen in midfield show a lack of ambition for the game & that is a tactical move by the manager..............when carroll comes on, u can see the level of performance up even though we din managed 2 score.........it's obviously KD instruction 2 push up more in the second half and the players did respond and not due 2 lack of performance lor.........it's juz what the manager wants............

hope we can reverse the game at anfield then......however gerrard is out...........

I'll give Kenny benefit of the doubt since Carroll is still getting his fitness back. Hopefully we can negotiate the second leg at Anfield, and play a more positive formation in subsequent rounds.

Also look forward to the Suarez-Carroll pairing in the league. What a topsy turvey season - lose our top striker, buy two others, but one cannot play in Europe and the other out for 2 months!

I am actually happy that Arsenal is out of everything except EPL. They obviously cannot fight on many fronts. Its also a good thing that it is the SCUM that knocked them out of FA, the final nail. Hopefully this will galvanise Arsenal to actually fight n win EPL, and more importantly stop SCUM from 19.

Agree. Never done well with freebies. Milan, Joe, fabio are 3 of the latest that have not featured regularly. Bumper sign on bonus and fat salaries. Waste of money.
