Yes correct, Billion (10 to the power of 9) in bahasa indo is miliar whereas in bahasa malaysia is bilion.

Sometime there is a slight confusion in using bahasa malaysia in indonesia. The following below are some commonly use bahasa msia words which may cause misunderstanding in Batam:

1) 5.30pm in bhs msia is pukul lima setengah whereas in bhs indo is jam setengah enam.

2) Turn right in bhs msia is pusing kanan whereas in bhs indo is belok kanan.
The malay word pusing can be mistaken as dizzy/headache in indonesian language.

3) Free of charge in bhs msia is percuma whereas in bhs indo is gratis.
The malay word percuma can be mistaken as useless in bhs indo

4) Time in bhs msia is masa whereas in indo is waktu.

5) Buttock in bhs msia is buntut whereas in bhs indo is pantat

6) Crab in bhs msia is ketam whereas in bhs indo is kepiting

7) Car in bhs msia is kereta whereas in bhs indo is mobil

8) Petrol in bhs msia is petrol (same as english) whereas in bhs indo is bensin

9) Room in in bhs msia is bilik whereas in bhs indo is kamar

10) Toilet in bhs msia is tandas whereas in bhs indo is either kamar kecil or toilet (same as english)

11) Office in bhs msia is pejabat whereas in bhs indo is kantor

12) Window in bhs msia is tingkap whereas in bhs indo is jendela

13) Massage in bhs msia is urut whereas in bhs indo is pijat

14) Very delicious in bhs msia is sangat sedap whereas in bhs indo is enak banget

Therefore there is slight differences between the two languages.
Bahasa Malaysia has lots of English & Arabic words while Bahasa Indonesia has lots of Dutch & Javanese words. And the pronunciation is also quite different.

Agreed, most of the ceweks from booking joints are beefcake type and CMI,. but at least they are known and safer, reassuring in some sense that they will stay with you for the night, not likely to steal or runaway and will give you 3 shots. The better looking girls are from social media, KTV, Spa or freelancer, exciting but never know what will happen in the night. Better to take these ceweks for only ST after doing your due diligence in safekeeping your assets. You decide what you want and enjoy. Cheers.

What did the tour package covers? As in i wish to look at the tour group's itinerary so as to know where you will be going to,so that i can put you to the nearest booking joint. (i dont "recommend" people to place/s anymore)

Example : If you are touring around Nagoya area, Utama Hotel is where you should at least pay a visit since most booking joints are around that area (simply locate Utama hotel and walk ONE round,hehehe..). If you are in Batam Center area,then no booking joint there but Venus spa is a pretty fair choice. And if you are around BCS area (which they also call Penuin area), New Spa at Batam City Hotel is quite a fair choice too. If you are around Harbour Bay, go Octopuss Spa inside Pacific Palace Hotel then.

Usually if you take a tour package,you are more likely to be travelling via Batam Center Ferry terminal. But you will likely be brought over to Nagoya area. Locate Utama Hotel Batam, afterwhich walk one round with what you read from here :

No one would miss most booking joints in that area.

I would still ask most of my friends (who are new) to stay around Formosa tho,with almost everything all under one roof. In the event when all else fail, there's still King Massage which has a last order at midnight Batam time (close at 1am,Batam time) to help you with one shot (hehehe...), and/or Alishan KTV more for the midnight ghost,hehehe...oh,i miss the part that you mention you are heading to booking joint AFTER the city tour? Do note that you would be quite late by then.

Note that if you are new to batam and plan to get girls from wechat. Do be extra careful and not to call the girls directly to your room 1st (in case she's a ladyboy or not the right girl you chose,which usually is the case). Be careful of your personal belongings and valuables when you decide "she's the one" and you want her your room.

If you cant speak Indo Bahasa, google translate can be a good choice. Most hotels in Batam would have free wifi.

Hmm...comes to think of it,Woda Resort has a package that cost S$188, previously posted by me. I called on them during my last trip that S$188 is actually having that package but with a room w/o the in-room pool. The package with an in-room pool would cost S$218 nett.

Was hotel-hopping in my last trip and likely to continue to do that in my next couple of Batam trips.

Made a small mistake that nearly spoil my trip tho. I swooped my new indo test sim card in one of my dual-sim mobile phone and try to book hotel for my 3rd night onward but there was no OTP code send to my phone,hence transaction couldnt go thru.

Only on the day when i was about to head back to Singapore,then i realized that the guy who set up my sim on my phone actually had my Singapore sim card locked up to avoid unnecessary/accidental usage. Not his fault tho,as he did inform me that my Singapore sim was lock away, just that i completely forgot about it,hehehe....

i am quite surprise that this incident didnt affect my mood. I might think (or plan) too much before the trip,but not during the trip,hehehe...

Yes you are right.

In bahasa indo, kakak can refer to older brother or older sister

But in bahasa malaysia or bahasa melayu (spore), kakak only mean older sister
