Talking Re: Hatyai,Thailand For Sawadee Newbies

Just came back from Hatyai/Danok couple of days ago.
Hatyai central/downtown no flood at all. Road from customs to Hatyai smooth no water and no need to swim. Actually there was little rain and sunny.
Hatyai had many Msia/Spore families than cheongsters
Gals noticeably less even on Fri and Sat. After 9pm already hard to get tut tut.
Pubs like Post Laser and Deep Wonder were quieter.
Chao Phya 4 only had 2 sideline gals on Sat and Captain said about 10 working but all working in rooms.
SC Heritage had only 2 gals working on Sat When I was there around 4pm mamasan was sleeping and one of the gals acted as temporary mamasan. Mamasan was probably bored so decided to rest and sleep. Gal said she and her friend were only ones working and that many gals go back hometown. Wasn't my type so did not book.
Dropped by The Lead agogo (Merlin Hotel) near Kiss Lounge. Place was quiet cos it had more gals than customers. About 10 gals and 5 customers on that day. Saw one cute gal with nice body and beautiful tits. Beckoned her over, ordered big bottle Heineken and interviewed her about the place. She said she is coyote so not available for booking. She said other agogo dancers are bookable. Small stage and only 1 gal dancing each time LOL. This is small mini OMO agogo.
Saw a tall nice body dancing on stage but her gestures looked katoey so siam. Other gals sitting around was many shapes and sizes and did not fancy any. Later when bill come, 200b for Heineken +100b =300b. asked coyote what is 100b charge and she said it is something like entry fee to watch the show. Tipped coyote and left.
Kiss had about 20 gals and 10 gals in Ragazza on Sat and most not up to standard
There were cheongsters for sure cos by about 9pm almost all gals taken and left a few.
Basically, supply of gals not enough to cope with low supply of cheongsters. Gals are probably all not back in full force cos low supply of cheongsters.

The system has changed, you can wait till the cows come home but your supply of quality gals will be about the same.

The stunners and experienced gals now prefer to work for agencies which then hires them out to the clubs as coyotes (this system the gals are guaranteed an income and the income is high without having to do barfine.... they get a basic + commission from LDs + tips).

Re: Hatyai,Thailand for HatyaiLover

Reach Hatyai this morning, whole day the sky is cloudy with occasional passing rain, fortunately all roads in the city are clear. Carry an umbrella while walking around in town will be advantage. Generally I find that most hotels' room rate had increased permanently across the board. From the source of local merchant, most hotels room had high occupancy rate this coming weekend. The week before Chinese new year and after, available room going to be scarce. Even though room rates will have surcharge during the holiday period, nothing seem to hinder the neighbour tourists. The exchange rate I've got today is SGD$1 : 24.32baht.

Have fun

Songkhla under water for the second time

Report from The Nation dated 13 January 2012 :-

Songkhla under water for the second time

The U-tapao canal overflowed its banks, inundating communities along the canal, and flooding blocked a shortcut roadway linking two districts.

However, the flash flood which hit many communities in the outer areas of Hat Yai district has receded. Flooding on Kanchanawanit Road, connecting Hat Yai and Sadao districts has fallen as the water quickly flowed into the U-tapao canal.

The local weather service in Songkhla warned of heavy rain and flash floods in the lower south today through Sunday in Narathiwat, Yala, Pattani, Songkhla, Phatthalung, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Trang and Satun and from Saturday through Monday in Phatthalung, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Surat Thani, Chumphon and Prachuap Khiri Khan.

The meteorological department also forecast high waves in the Gulf of Thailand and small boats were advised to stay ashore.

Re: Southern city braces for flood

Juz came back from HY. Occasionally there are rains (heavy somemore) but not to the extend it will flood. All the roads all clear, transportation no problem at all. Prices of gals still the same [(farm - around 2k), (2.3K to 2.5K with tutu)]. the hotel rate had increase almost everywhere permanently. Worst still now CNY period, the rate had gone up 100%, eg. a normal room rate of 950baht had gone up to 1850baht. Airport taxi to HY town, 3 person 300baht, 4 person, 380baht. Book from tour agency from HY town to airport - 250baht for 4 person.
