Hi All,

Those staying in the west you guys may 1 to try changing RM at LOT 1 shopping center @ CCK mrt their rates are usually 1 RM to 1.50 RM more then when u change in jb

What's the rate today?

Change at Woodlands Point Blk 4A, rate is 227.1
Noticed rate in JB is 226.5

Now all Money Changer (MC) in JB are pakat oredi. The rates they displayed are meant for reference only. All MC in JB will display the same rate. But, they are doing abit special to attract customer. Let say display is RM225 (for S$100), you will get 225.50. In fact, most of them offer slightly higher than the display rate. However, if you are changing >1k sing, ask for better rate. Usually they will give you RM227!! All these are bargainable if you change >2k sing.

BTW, which MC in JB gives the best rate ?

I just went to city plaza near geylang and the rate there is 227 .

I heard from fren that over in KL some money changers are offering 229 a couple of days back!!
