Geylang should be safe bah since OKTs will turn banglas away. Its only Petain that will be damn dangerous unless the OKTs also do the same but they might lose money since most is MILF lovers and banglas that go there.

Another problem is safe entry. Some massage places also have it. Unless the gahmen don't disclose you went to massage/Geylang and only disclose that you went to shopping malls lor

OKTs were told that after the wls have passed the Covid-19 and AV officers would come for final inspection on all the safety features covering hardware and software. Don't think the opening of WL houses will be announced publicly. Most likely it will just resume quietly alongside other loosening of restrictions. Worse come to worse then can just ban the foreign workers first.

I don't think covid-19 testing is holding up the reopening of GL.

If it was, okt/WL could always go to the private hospitals and pay direct for testing, costs about $200 plus a test. Very small price to pay to reopen.

No, I think it is MOH that is holding up the reopening of GL. Probably still undecided because of the obvious risks of transmission and cluster spread.

The longer the delay, the more it looks like GL shall not be allowed to reopen until Phase 3.

By then not sure how many OKTs already thrown in the towel and shut house for good.

As for the few remaining GL gals, no need to say, all would have long since packed up and returned back to their homeland by then.

So have to wait for fresh supply of GL gals.

No need to speculate anymore. The more you do this the more frustrated you will get. OKTs don't know anything and neither does AV from what can be seen thus far.

It is now all in the hands of MOH.

Yes, I think AV is our friend more than our enemy. They are the ones who are actively pushing for GL to reopen rather than delay it. Because they know the longer they drag, the more these vice activities will be pushed underground and across the island.

I hope I am wrong but my guess is that if GL does not reopen sometime close to after 9th August than it shall probably not reopen until Phase 3.

The current local community transmission figures including the unlinked cases actually look very promising.

So with all these positive factors in play and GL still showing no signs of reopening, prognosis unfortunately seems bleak.
