I've been reading this thread with much interest. These are some of the things I find particularly interesting:
1 judging from the spending power, the language and "reputation" of the posters. It would seem safe to assume they are intelligent, of considerable wealth and standing.
2 which leads me to wonder even more as to why so much money is being thrown at these HFJs? For what purpose and ends? face? sex? Of course at the end of the day, the oft quoted response of ...as long as one is happy/spend as you see fit, applies. But seriously, on reflection, is it really all worth it? Or at some point, you will have to say it is, so as to prevent cognitive dissonance.
But I guess one thing we can all agree is that the HFJ and the WL/singer benefits the most at the end of the day regardless of who wins the flower hanging wars :-)
No flames pls...just my observation and adding to discussion on this very lively and interesting thread. Gives me an inside glimpse without actually stepping into these joints and spending my hard earned dosh! Tks!
HI, Just sharing my views with you. I been to HJFs for quite some time till now. Spending all those money is worth if you BONK the gal. But pls, the singer not the dancer cos dancer can be easily BONK but not the singers. As for every flower you give they take 20 to 30% of it depends on where they work. They have a target to hit. If they dont hit, they will not be able to get their commission of the flowers. Same goes for their Lady drinks. Most of the dancer and singers will get customers to buy them Lambo as that cost us $60 and they can hit their target fast.
