Bro i been to humen before and honestly i suggest you spend 1 night there then CP 3 nights. There is really nothing much left in Humen compare to 7 years back. The only interesting thing for humen is the wholesale centre for female clothings. Lots of STY sales gal wearing their shop clothings You use the "act like buyer" tactic and tried to sian them. Hit rate quite high if you are decent looking. Other than that, humen ktv and disco is nothing compare to CP.

I have never stay in Virgin or Bandao before but if you are looking for centralised location then go for Virgin. Both are old hotels so don't expect much for the rooms condition. If you want nice rooms but good price then i suggest Regency (Xiang Ying) but the hotel is far from town, about 8 mins ride. If you need help please contact a agent. They are all very helpful

Maybe u hv not noticed....most mysian visitors to cp are elderly ppl
like me, tho i m not mysian.
I can see many reasons....1) when at home we would not dare
to party wildly....there are many yng members of the family, frens and
associates....that we do not want them to witness
2) cp ktvs still unique compare to sg and kl (f.streets and all)
3)Large ktvs like Vegas and Bintang palace not cheap

Totally agreed as i dont like to party in SG too so can only let myself loose in CP .....

Bro JDM , take Bro Roti advise .... nothing much in Humen comparing CP , if you had not been to Humen , stay 1 night should be more than enough to 6c6c ..... Myself have been to Humen , Huizhou , ZMT , Tangxia , ChangAn , FengGang .... but still prefer CP .

Both these hotel are more to the mid class hotel in CP , dont aspect too much beside the location is good and anyway CP aint that big to travel around , Right ?

Go check out the Regency Duplex room , 2 room inside if 2 ppl share is almost same price with clipper or penisula ......

Have fun and i gonna wait till the date i start to miss CP to get myself back in action .... cooling down period for me now as i follow our garment ....

heard that there is a new 5star hotel opening in cp but room rates not available... will wait and see what is the confirm rates before booking...

If I don't remember wrongly try only have 2 of such rooms so its safer to book first before u go.. They have 1 big desk about 1m by 2m and a sofa by the side. So those are the only 2 area u can do ur feed other than on the floor. Don't expect the full service if u use the room as there is no bed for them to carry out their services. But it's quite a nice experience heh heh. I brought an Indian friend there to try and he didn't understand Chinese. When the girl came in with a file and passed it to him, he even requested her to bring in a pen for him to sign the pseudo document, which made the girl laugh alot hahaha

All the action is in CP. also can try humei hotel...opposite virgin hotel, pretty gd. week end rate RMB 388.week day slightly cheaper. juz got back last wwek, miss the fun so much...hv to wait till june or july b4 going again...hainz .wat a long wait

Virgin and peninsula also not clean, last week stay there and my friend change room twice, someone pull his leg first nite. Change hotel and his underwear was removed, he was so sure his underwear is with him. He found underwear under bed. Sleep alone and following 3 nites book meimei to sleep with him at miraton.
