Real choose the ex pompey fella Lassana Diarra instead of him....
but this Huntelaar been scoring eversince he was included before the Spain league ended...managed to scored 8 goals during his last 15-20 games....

I wouldnt mind having Huntelaar at all.
Had a bad season at Real but I think he has shown quality otherwise.

It looks like we might get the money, as Barca meet with Masch's agent.

I will miss Masch if he does indeed leave, but that would also mean if Villa does join, we can go back to a 4-4-2 .

Sadly so. We used to be the bigger club in the 80s. Guess we are paying the price for our lacklustre performance in the commercial aspects in the club. So what if we have millions of fans? If we don't know how to tap into this strength commercially, we will also lose out to the Real Madrids and Scums.

I don't fancy a 4-4-2 if Masch leaves. Alonso or Lucas don't possess the energy and determination to dispossess/irritate our opponents in the same way Masch or Momo does. In a counter attack, Gerrard will be too far forward to track back to tackle. Masch is a BIG player for us. Hope he doesn't forget that we pluck him out of West Ham obscurity.

I feel it's a good thing that so many of our players are linked to other teams. Think about it as a recognition of our team's improvement. In previous seasons, it's been said that a lot of Rafa's players aren't good enough to hold a starting 11 in other teams. It's just that Rafa can get a group of mediocre players to play well collectively.

Now, we have players that can walk into most of the top teams and be in the starting 11. These are the players that are rumoured to being poached from an unwilling seller. Reina and Masch (Barca), Arbeloa and Alonso(Real), Torres (Man U Siao Ah), Benyanoun.

I think most likely we would be letting Babel, Arbeloa and Dossena go. Hopefully, Rafa can find someone unknown yet attractively priced like Reira for our right side this season. Nothing exciting so far and I'm beginning to worry. Looking forward to seeing Ngog and Insua develop this season.

season given that he needs extra strength in some department....
English players if possible...if not its up to you....
and state why you think so....

for me...
i picked micah richards...
he can play right back (replace Arbeloa and if GJ deal went dead) ...hes steady...hes upper body quite balanced and he will be more better if he has rafa as guidance....
especially gerarrd and carra also there to create him one of the best english defender then he is now in man city....
but i must admit he abit clumsy sometimes...(who never)
