I very doubtful when someone said Viet shop opening today 18 July and 2 aug why would gov risk opening before National Day ... they don’t want any surge in number of cases before National Day. Let's just pray Aug 2nd is the true reopening date, if not earlier

I mean they announced cinemas reopening several days before GE... That could cause a higher surge in cases (eating and drinking in the cinema is allowed, nani?!) which would be harmful to their credibility to garner votes. Needless to mention GE itself could cause its own surge which would be much more embarrassing compared to reopening GL before National Day imo. Furthermore I don't remember GL being closed on previous national days so I believe vices they are targeting are more of the outright illegal ones like drugs, illegal gambling dens etc while legals one are still okay.

Come on, what's with the fear mongering? You don't need to wait beyond the rah rah for another CB. I won't be surprised if a CB is implemented within the next few minutes if our current community cases are at the levels say similar to Victoria (428 new community cases yesterday alone).

The purpose of the CB is to significantly ramp up our capabilities to combat the virus (successful, accelerated even due to the outbreaks in the dorms) and to cut as many chains of transmission within the community as we can (successful, but not eradicated like we hoped it would). To implement another CB means that our situation is much more severe than back in late March which could very well happen today, tomorrow or as you said, in Sept. But a CB carries heavy consequences to a lot of people be it mental health or financial worries, the popularity they gained from NDP could simply be lost in the next CB if implemented just for the sake of it.

Here's something to think about your point about popularity as well. Wouldn't you agree rallying for the most amount of support before GE is more important than rallying support after the first of five NDPs in their new mandate? Quite a number of people were skeptical and even resistant about the reopening of cinemas (among other things that came along with Phase 2 that people were also unhappy about) and yet they still pushed on with the announcement just before GE so that itself shows reopenings are not tied to politics. Going by common sense, wouldn't leaving the announcement till after GE garner them more popularity?

Based on the multi-ministry task force sitrep, Phase 2 is here to stay for a long time. Gahmen will not want to go back to Phase 1 or CB if it is avoidable. I take it that we will not see Phase 3 at least until next year.

Well, my previous darling did not ask for monthly maintenance but I had to go for double sessions two to three times a week plus tips to get tuna. The effective costs came to over thousand dollars per week.

Well I hope GL will reopen soon. The sad part is that may not be many WLs working at that time. My guess is there are about 60 PRC girls currently still in GL.

Bro, u are solid.My salute to u ) Mine was the pathetic 23 secs. I had to thrust as many times as possible, like the Hell week of Seal training whereby got to grab as much food as possible during the few mins eating time. Seal Commander Unfit knows well, lol.

When GL reopens and having an official legal bonk with the desired WL, not sure i would knn 感动到流眼泪.Maybe will show my gratitude by pausing one min solemnly sucking her toes, knn.Tuna or no tuna is not important on that day.
