Don't think they will be as mad as they were against Pool last sunday, shd improve a little bit at least

So majority betting for a loss...i will go for a win just by 1 goal or a draw...likelihood they may lose by 2 goals...going for a win because the last few times, Charlie predicted correctly ...his score prediction almost quite chun

The biggest fear is their next match against Man City...that one no need to say...close yr eyes n u can safely say they will be thrashed by our neighbours in blue maybe with the same scoreline as that against Pool

Was watching the game and this are some of my pov

The defence is crappy even with varane coming back to the first 11 line up

The centre midfield is non-existent… I used to hate Pogba a lot but now Fred take over his place… no decent pass or run even! And week in week out he still get to play… making my blood boil

The bright spark is as usual Ronaldo and Cavani… I think they will both play well together in the future…

Agree with u most of wat u said bro ..but in all fairness to his godson Fred, he played much better tonight than against pool last week.. more like when he pressed against Atalanta...almost scored a goal if it was not saved by GK Lloris ...as for CR7 n Cavani playing well tgt it is also no use if their defence keep letting the opposition score goals against them by bad defending....so far Varane seems to be defending quite well fighting for the ball

So we've had a small taste of what a Conte 3-5-2 Utd will be like. Spurs didn't exactly give us a stern test, playing ironically Ole's preferred 4-2-3-1 formation.

Solid, confident but not exactly an electrifying display. What skill by all three goalscorers.

Will be interesting to see if this formation will be retained against City.

They finally made it !!...beating Spurs 3-0 with goals from CR7 in 1st half, n Cavani n Rashford in the 2nd ...Charlie predicted the win the closest again

Let's see if they can sustain this good momentum in the next few matches esp the ones against champions Man City n Atalanta

Second half spurs was terrible to watch… if the performance today was against man city or Chelsea… I don’t think they will stand a chance… but of cos I’m happy to see them winning again 3-0… convincing win? Far from it…

But I hope Ronaldo and Cavani will be the first 11 Everytime….

Infant OGS probably noted ILPH recommendation playing 3 CB.
But still, like what you pointed out, crappy. AWB was called in with a late surge to put the ball out early on in the game. Nearly concede early goal too, but was ruled off side. Romero appears totally unmarked.
Worrying signs indeed.

With one extra man in defence and one upfront, expected weakness in midfield.
Defence tried to push up to help but with speedy Son, always caught off guard.

Agree, CR7 and Cavani was a joy to watch. Think they showed each other a great deal of respect.

But will infant OGS still rely on this formation in the next few matches?

Spurs rarely threatened. Seemed quite tamed under Nuno.

haha i cannot take credit but i dare say LVG and mourinho are better tacticians than OGS & co

man u has speedy attackers, coupled with a back line which is slow due to maguire, so it would be more pragmatic to play on the counter against quality teams like pool and city who have superior passing and movement. the priority now for the squad is to be familiar with defensive drills, esp. offside trap and set pieces. i didn't watch the match but from the highlights, the back 5 need alot of defensive training to reach a better understanding

however, this doesn't work against an opponent that parks the bus. as seen in the past, the players end up making sideways passes with no purpose or the attacker (martial/rashford) making futile dribbles into 2 banks of players. the fullbacks also have to make more forward runs down the flanks to stretch the defence but so far AWB/shaw are not as incisive as g.neville/evra were, so the responsibility lies with the coaches to improve them and their understanding with the AMR/AML

Yes, agree with u bro AC...their 3-0 win against Spurs on Saturday night doesn't mean they become suddenly good...

they were in fact bullying a equally weak team...in fact they got a goal scored against them which was declared offside...they shdnt be too happy because they won mainly because in front CR7 n Cavani played aggressively tgt to score the goals while their defence at the back is quite well managed by Varane ...

I think the knucklehead will go back to his old habit of playing the useless Mcfred, the fat n slow Maguire, Sancho, Greenwood n godson Martial on the excuse of rotation n giving the good players rest for the other matches...if so, the same old cracks will appear again n don't be surprised they might be beaten by Atalanta this Wednesday night ...

Since they are back to being serious with their football, I will go back to being serious with predictions.

Not entirely sure we have the enough centre backs to sustain a 3-5-2 over all campaigns. One eye on Sat when making the team selection. Possibly Pogba and Rashford might get a run out.

If we employ 3-5-2:
Atalanta 0 : 2 Man Utd

If back to 4-2-3-1:
Atalanta 1 : 2 Man Utd

Frankly i am done with the bullshit of United's Board, Glazers and Woodward ....... win, lose or draw the rest of this season and United WILL STILL NOT replace Infant Mgr OGS and therefore there is really no real ambition to win silverware.

United is now an American footballing club that is only interested in sponsorships and selling jerseys and not an English football club where legacy and pride in winning trophies is the DNA.
