not necessary....casino has been closed for quite a while...then bola opened again and stayed opened....until last month...

it is sometimes not which is open but who owns what and pays what...

The governer of Batam has been elected.
The New Police Chief has been elected.
What can be up next?

Previously, I wrote the old police chief took money and after that annouce restructuring. That is about 2 or 4 millions sing dollars paid. I can't really remember.

Hope that
- The new police chief are not new to the batam culture
- The casino willing to forgo the past scandal
- The bribery negotiation is successful

With this we can see lights in casino. I don't see any barriers now except money.

its coming to almost half a year liao since they are last open. the casinos should know how much profit they are losing. if they weight the differences, i am sure will be more than happy to bribe whoever in charge. now seems that the in charge isnt taking the bribe.

The governer is the same old man. Police chief? hand picked by SBY. Heard that this guy a very straight fellow. Either he takes the bribe or kana killed by the underworld, if he goes too far, some people just said that. Because the underworld here is strong also.

Just hope they close one eye. Money talks.

this could be a very touch & go situation..the new chief of police is Sutanto....very anti casino..anti gambling.....let's see how it goes...good luck batam & it's people............
