Danok is a small town.

Only internet available via LAN cables are in the lobby of the following hotels:
PP Hotel : 2 free internet machines. No need to pay anything for using.
KPK Hotel : cost....not sure.
Grand Satit : not to sure of cost.
At the internet shop on the main road to Hatyai. Shop is on the right side. THB 2 per hour.

HeJia Hotel provides free WIFI but signal strength varies from floor to floor and room to room. you can request for change of room if available to get the strongest signal.

KPK group of hotels also offer free wifi. KPK offer free wifi on certain floors only while KPK Legend also offer free wifi but not sure if it is available in every rooms and on both floor (KPK has only three or four floors and is the block of flat beside the main KPK Hotel).

if i remember correctly, the New Satit (or is it Grand Satit Hotel) that is located at the start of the road leading to HeJia Hotel also offer free wifi. The connection, though, is unstable at the time when was there, which was one year ago.

I am familiar with free WiFi hotel because I am an Internet addict, even on holiday. cheers !

If I remember correctly, the new hotel opposite Grand Satit also has wifi in the rooms. I think it is called SP Sweet or something like that. RM79 per room per night.

How are you Tai Kor? Seldom see u in BKK thread now. Hatyai, Betong, Danok... problem is I got time to visit one place only. Didn't know chiong also got diff culture one ah? Can to explain to this noob? Kop chai naa...

I am going to going to Dim Sum land more often now as I have a project there in Guangzhou...at least for a few months, on and off ~ Msia - Guangzhou...! In between I come to eat Tom Yam. Most likely I have to wait until OCT to go back to BKK again. Need to see a very lady at the new airport....stunning girl, promised to have candle light dinner with her...heheheh! Meantime you can still catch me in Hatyai....!

If you are comparing BKK with Hatyai for example it is a lay back city and very relax pace....talk to etct88 to give you a better view of it.

Let me list it this way

Hatyai - Cheong and family destination a cross over nowadays and food is good and cheap if you know where. Got shopping complex, Swenson icecream and cinema to waste your time. (if you have any..hehehe)

Danok - Sort of cowboy town, where everything goes....from PRC, Burmese, Yunan and of course Thai girls (can be very young). Lots of things that Hatyai don't have like a strip tease show...hehehe! Drink and drink and bonk and bonk. Massage parlours which offer happy ending. (not referring to the Soapy but a conventional Thai traditional massage place....like I say everything goes!

Betong - Party all the way and the quality slightly better in certain places and there is not running away after a bonk as there is no where you can't run from...it is like a town in the middle of the jungle....!

Hard to explain everything over here but hopefully this give you a view...why don't you catch hold of uncle etct88 and ask him to elaborate more as he have girls in every town mention above.

Suggest you to go to Hatyai first if you are so use to Bangkok style in my own humble opinion.

if betong, then fly down to Penang.

In summary of your tai kor

Hatyai - nice food

Danok - food ok

Betong - food sucks

most important, the company...........
