Apparently, its illegal to patronise a outlet that is found to be a party to human trafficking. Guess Phillies and Paradise Garden pool tables are going to have long queues.

Just missed this. But I quote a report from another forum board.

" I saw customers leaving the bar with police standing in front before 12 jeeps were brought to Field Ave initially parked between Dollhouse down to HiSo. Incredibly, a couple of customers approached the entrance while the police were standing outside, only to be turned away.
Police brought girls out, dressed in regular clothes (not uniforms) and began loading about 15-20 in each van. What appeared to be a policeman would take a seat closest to the rear of each jeep probably to keep girls from leaping out later. Saw a couple of utility boys loaded in also. After 5 vans were filled up, the police waived off the rest and sent them on their way. All vans filled with girls exited toward McArthur Highway.
The police returned inside the bar and closed the doors, thought the outside lights of the bar were left flashing on. "

These are the Tourist Police.

The official line is that due to the rising crime incidents lately that were mainly targeting foreigner victims, the TP has decided to deploy more personnel to ensure the safety of visitors to AC. Hence each bar will have a policeman assigned to it.

However, we do not see it that way. These cops sit inside and watch over the bar customers instead of the criminal elements outside, stop the bar girls from leaving with customer and basically making a nuisance of themselves so that the bar owner or manager pays them some money to leave the bar for a few hours.

Im not sure where u r getting this disturbing news from but no Clark will not likely be hosting WEF. Next year or anywhere in the near future. It IS Manila's turn this year for WEF south asia yes. And next year's host country has not been decided yet.
On that note, im wondering how is AC gonna be affected during WEF Manila. I know they will surely clean up the streets especially around the hosting hotels, in manila. But will the charade reach as far as AC?
I will likely come to AC right after WEF.
