People with a certain level of money no longer care about what others think of them. After you have attained a certain level of funds, money is just digits lying in your bank account. The way he described it to me, if he didn't spend the 10K, he may well end up taking a flight back to China just to try and F the girl. The time wasted doing such a trip, is well worth the money spent.

Quite obvious he is happy to spend the money fulfilling an otherwise unfulfilled sexual fantasy. So he knows how reality is very disappointingly different from that fantasy.

I don't expect many people to understand what I just wrote above. He's not showing off, rich people understand that the purpose of money is to create lasting memories.

Yeah, he's also a bit old and has some health problems so each day he wakes up may well be his last. He collapsed once while trying to climb a flight of stairs and woke up in a hospital when a security guard did his rounds and found him unconscious.

When you are in that kind of situation, and you have millions and millions in your bank account that you may never finish spending then you can understand why he behaves that way.

His family is very well taken care of, he has discharged all his financial responsibilities and probably more........so what are these digits in the bank account for?

He's never going to miss the 10K, and if he can feel shiok fucking a shu qi lookalike (he has always fapped to her naked pics when she was still a Cat 3 actress) then it's probably money well spent.

So, TLDR: Sad ending, but good experience.
