Just back from a 4D3N trip to Vientiane, Laos and this is my FR.

Day1
Our party arrived about at the Wattay International Airport, Vientiane after a short 25 mins flight by Scoot Airlines from the Luang Prabang Airport at about 12:35pm local time. The Scoot flight arrived early and we cleared the Immigration Control and went past the unmanned Custom Checkpoint to leave the sterile area pretty fast. Thereafter, at the Lao Telecom counter, next to the taxi counter, we bought the cheap 20k kip internet SIM card to cover the duration of our stay. We quickly located our friendly driver Kham after a phone call and was greeted by the extremely hot weather of about 40 C outside the terminal building. Kham drove us to the Xaysomboun Boutique Hotel booked previously. After checking into the hotel, we visited our regular money changer at Lane Xang Ave just after the Talat Sao Shopping Mall and before the branch of the Sacombank Bank to change for Laotian Kip. The exchange rates of 880k kip for 100 USD and 630k kip for 100S$ were good. Thereafter, we had our late lunch and rested in the hotel. At dinner in a nearby restaurant around 7:30pm, a Laotian friend updated us on the changes in Vientiane over the last two years. He recommended the KTV in Khongkham Hotel for our enjoyment. A KTV room was booked and Kham drove us to the Khongkham KTV, where a welcoming party of beautiful girls greeted us. The manager brought us to our room where a retinue of about 12 young beautiful girls was paraded. We chose three girls, aged 20, 21 and 23 and had a jolly good time drinking Lao beers, singing songs, eating fruits and tidbits with dancing fingers all over the girls. The girls were from the atas class costing 250k each sitting fees but they were not as entertaining as those Sanjiang girls we had during our previous visits years ago with brother Kwaychup and others. We decided to take them for ST after the session but the girls insisted that we performed the deeds in the hotel rooms upstairs which we duly refused and left the KTV, angry and hungry and the damage was 1,500k. Kham fetched us back but decided to stop at Vientiane Plaza Massage where a brother released his penned up pressure in a dragon massage service at 530k while the rest returned to the nearby hotel to meet a Tantan girl who agreed to come at 100USD.

i got to luang prabang after kwaychup left.

when i just go there, i borrowed the hotel bicycle and rode around to get a
feel of the neighborhood. it was hot. very hot. i saw many angmos riding
around in motorbikes and i told myself i have to get myself one of those.
kwaychup recommended kuang si waterfall so i planned to rent a motorbike for
that and to get around.

the next day
i rented a motorbike to visit the waterfall and would never do that again.
the afternoons were scorching hot and so in the evening (still hot) i rode
the motorbike to joma bakery and night market and like kwaychup i didn't see
any white vans. i did get many tuk tuks asking if i wanted lady but politely
declined. i also explored a few coordinates that was shared in another forum
and found nothing. some of these coordinates seemed really far out so i gave
up after riding a few km towards them.

the following day
refusing to give up, i extended my motorbike rental as i also didn't want to
ride a bicycle around (again, scorching hot). i decided to ride to one of the
coordinates that's 7km away after lunch. this was one of those i gave up
because it was late, dark, and seemed far the previous night. road condition
was bad, basically no proper roads at some parts of the journey and extremely
dusty. when i got to the spot, it was undeniably the spot because that was the
only house there and there's a row of these tiny 'huts' outside the house
where people can sit/rest. this is supposedly a laos hostess bar. i'm not sure
how it work. maybe the ladies are supposed to be in the house, you pick them
and drink with them in the hut outside? anyway the door to the house was closed.
there wasn't anyone around. thinking it was too early, i rode back to the hotel.

around 4+ i decided to head there again. my 2nd trip there so i was more familiar
with the route. probably got there quicker this round. when i got there, there
was a dog chained to the hut nearest to the house. i swear it wasn't there
previously. the door to the house was still closed. i then hung around the
outside of the house to admire the scenery. this house is right next to the
nam khan river and there were people fishing in the river. a motorbike rode in
and stopped outside the house and the 2 girls got off. they saw me but ignored
me and went to peer into the house from one of the house windows that's
slightly ajar then left. i guess they're the freelance girls who work for the
bar and maybe it's closed or maybe i was still too early so i too decided to
leave seeing nothing there. there's really nothing else around there. only
dust, rubbish and nature.

i then decided to head back to joma bakery to try catching the white vans
again. this was around 6. i parked outside joma and there was a tuk tuk near
the bakery and again, "want lady?" but i ignored him and went in to get a
cold drink. thinking of getting information, i went out and tried to chat a
little with him. i asked him about ladies nearby and also mentioned in vans
and he said they don't do that here anymore. he said he can bring me to go
see ladies if i want. he said i can leave my bike there since it's safely
locked. i asked him how far away to see these ladies and he said 10 mins. i
told him to give me his number and maybe later or tomorrow. he said if i want
let him know early, 7pm he'll go home.

i rode back to the hotel and returned the motorbike. after some contemplation
i decided to call him. "hello bun? how much to see ladies?" he said "50k".
that's like 8 sgd. i tried to bargain. i think i said 40k and he refused
saying he's already at home. i said okay you stay at home. i thought i'll just
head to the night market for dinner instead. i started walking and after 5
mins, fuck it i thought. i called bun again and he picked up after many rings.
i said ok 50k and he said, "no no i stay at home". so no choice i said okay
you stay at home again...

i asked the hotel to call a tuk tuk to get me to the night market. cost 40k.
waited for maybe 10 mins and this huge ass tuk tuk got here. not like the
usual this one seemed more like a 3 tonner. can sit many behind. the driver
was a friendly chap. instead of sitting behind i offered to sit next to him.
he's probably one of the few tuk tuks that the hotel uses and before driving
off he was chatting to a lady and her kid from this house that's opposite the
hotel entrance. he told me "my friend". so we drove off heading for the night
market. within minutes he asked me the golden question. seeing that he seemed
pretty trustworthy and friendly i tried to find out more. i asked him, how
much to go around to see ladies? he said 80k. i asked him, how many places? he
said maybe 3. fuck it i thought. i said ok let's go just bring me back to the
hotel after that.

so this guy doesn't seem to have the most updated info or something. maybe
many places have been shut down so he needs someone who knows. after maybe
10 minutes of driving (and calling) we ended up in this narrow 2 way street.
got off the truck. nothing in that area. walked past some hair salon and at
this restaurant looking place he spoke to a old lady who seem to work there
and she mumbled something and he told me no lady. then we headed back to the
truck and sat in there and he was still checking his phone. another old lady
walked past and they spoke. now i'm thinking do they all know everyone else in
this area... so he told me got ladies but must wait 30 minutes. they're
dressing up or something. this old lady walks to a pharmacy across the street.
i think that's her family business. very strange place. so i wasn't interested
in waiting for 30 minutes and was about to say, hey fuck it bring me back to
the hotel. forget about ladies. then he got another call and he said, got
ladies.

we drove off leaving that strange area and past some huge roundabout and
stopped at this road where it's pretty quiet but still near the roundabout.
we got off and he made a phone call and after a few minutes a WHITE VAN parked
behind us. he said lady here. so the white vans truly exists. i guess they're
not at joma bakery area because of police clamp down. the driver, a middle age
guy probably also the pimp got off and had a chat with my driver. in the
passenger seat, a middle age women. no idea what's their relationship. then he
slid the van door open and said, "4 ladies only". i looked in, no looker but
not totally ugly. i asked how much for ST and he said 300k. i made that "wtf
so expensive" look on purpose to see if the price is negotiable. i said "300k
not LT?" he laughed. after all the shit i thought fuck it. let's do this. i
picked the better looking of the 4 and paid 300k to the pimp. felt like we
were transacting in some illegal goods or something. i mean that area's like
dark and there're 2 vehicles and us passing money from one party to the other.
i would've gotten the contacts of the pimp but didn't because the tuk tuk
driver was there. so me and my lady got on the tuk tuk but we both sat behind
instead of me next to the driver.

he drove to a nearby guest which only took a few minutes and spoke to the
guesthouse owner/employee and said 100k (16sgd) for the room. i paid and we
got the key. the tuk tuk driver said you go, i'll come back for you. so i
followed my girl to our assigned room. room was lousy but at least it has a/c.
we took showers separately, she went first then me. i made sure to have all my
valuables in my pocket when i went to shower. came out and she turned off the
main lights and we started. like the reviews i read in the other forum, it's
exactly like how most of the girls are. i got a dead fish. she just laid
there. i pointed to my lips to see if kissing is okay and she shook her head.
so i worked on her boobs. no reaction. wanted to go down further and she
refused to let me. so i thought i'll just get over and done with this. came

also just standing there waiting for her transport. i thought if the white
van came back i'll have to ask the pimp for his contact. anyway it was a
pretty long wait. maybe 20-30 mins and my driver came back. she now has an
elderly female companion next to him and asked me to get on. so i got in and
sat in the back and the girl also boarded the truck. it seems that he'll be
sending her home or wherever. maybe i was her only/last client for the day.

the driver dropped that elderly lady off first, then dropped me off at my
hotel. as promised, i paid him 80k and bid him farewell. so it seems that
for a successful bonk, you'll need a trustworthy tuk tuk. i have no idea what
the market rate is but 80k was probably way over since the previous tuk tuk
quoted 50k. the other forum said the white vans charge 250/300k for ST so it's
accurate but probably also over the market rate. 50k tuk tuk, 250-300k bonk,
100k ST room total of 480k kip roughly 80sgd for all that trouble plus the
bonk was really lousy. maybe if i got to pick at 6pm the experience would have
been different. to be honest i had better experience when i went to vientiane
in 2013. got a girl from zap that's next to anou paradise hotel. much
friendlier but i guess you can't compare a kampung girl to someone working in
a bar.

DAY2

The Tantan girl (Mihorm) came just after midnight in a car. She is tall (>6ft), pretty, equipped with huge torchlights and looked great and was deemed a good buy by my brothers. There are about 5 or 6 of these restaurants along the main road after passing a Chinese owned power company on the way. Each shop had about a dozen or so young Laotian girls sitting around the tables. Kham wanted to bring us to the fourth shop but my brother selected the third shop as the girls there were younger and prettier. We sat at a table ordered some Lao beers and ogled the girls, finally selected 3 girls to sit with us. You caught my mistakes, it is 250k for atas and 150k for ordinary. ST is 500k, LT 900k but up to 6am only.

well these type of bars generally open from 8pm onwards, after they have dinner with their families etc, it's like a sideline for them, same for ktv timings etc. some girls have day jobs so they will just stay until 6am or so.

never been to that area before other than lao ong dao 1 n 2 which i condemn already.

for chinese run stuffs, there's alot of them in sanjiang itself, you can might as well try explore there, next to the new shopping centre has this massage shop on level 2 on the exit towards asean road, and it's occupies the whole level 2, so it reminds me of PZL in CP but i did not have the chance to go yet.

Quite expensive. In sihanoukville, cambodia, motorcycle rental only usd5 and if rent per month is only usd90.

In phnom penh, bike rental only usd7.

Yes, everything should be more expensive in Laos, a landlocked country, where almost everything is imported from elsewhere, Thailand, China, Vietnam...

also the rates are also not inflated by us but rather the influx of mainland chinese who sees this as an alternative chionging place which drive the prices up.
