Again, this is what I had read. Having "cut" will have lower risk of getting HIV compare to "un-cut" The additional skin is the cause.

To all bro,

Like to share some cost effective method for those who intend to go for circumcision. I've tried and it worked - Free of charge! Instead of forking out $800-1000, i chose to circumcise during my NS!

You see.... when u are in NS, you are covered for your hospital and medical expenses (when you show them ure 11B, for NSF or regular). So a few years back, i made use of this privilege and removed my foreskin in NUS before i ORD. I do it while clearing my 1 month's leave and offs, so i can recover comfortably at home, not in camp!

I thought if we can maximize our NS privilege, then y not, right? Some friends even go to wisdom teeth extraction, some went for expensive operations to rectify old problems, with expenses all covered!

I just have one question and wonder if anyone can advise.

I pay $300 every month to my insurance plan which covers hospitalization costs, and even pays me when i'm warded.

I have Phimosis, rather acute since the opening is barely enough to stick my little finger though. And this is after the stretching exercises that some recommended.

Since this is a "potential health risk" does anyone know if I get warded for a day for this surgery that I will be able to claim it from insurance? I'm thinking that since this is a potential health risk (will blame possibility of Urinary Tract Infection) I will be able to claim this from my insurance and thus i can try to go for the MOST expensive one.

For me, i am unable to have sex without a condom as it hurts... ALOT. With the condom it's fine and i'm banging like a champ.
Without condom, just pushing it in hurts because my opening is too small and if i force it, i end up strangling my dickhead with the super tight opening that is stretched.

Personally, I'm just going for the circumcision just to cut away enough to let him out fully, I don't want it high and tight as the glans is very sensitive, i want it to stay that way but being kept in my "sleeve" unless being used.

Can u choose how high or low u want the cut to be? How many of u opted 4 high & tight cut?

Cos i knw high & tight gives u that pornstar dick look

Does the frenulum need 2 be cut too?

Like to ask around if anyone went for a second cut or revised circumcision. Reason I'm asking is that my previous cut at SGH wasn't done properly and I am looking to redo it.

Has checked before with Raffles Hospital and they are doing it for about $2.3k (The usual circumcision was going for around $2k. It was not quoted by the doctor as highlighted in earlier threads).

Appreciate if any bro can help on the above matter

Didn't know that the cost of circumcision is that high. Did you try getting a referral from polyclinic to go to see a specialist in maybe... Tan Tock Seng hospital? I think the cost should be lower and maybe there is an alternative for you to pay via medisave. Of cos, the downside would be the long wait, usually lasting for months before you get to see the specialist.

After reading thru all the pages, I am going for it.

I do not want to delay or book the operation for a later date.
Too much waiting, cause anxiety & fear.
Hence, I prefer to go in morning & operate on the same day.
Also, consider to remove the fredulum as well.

Seem like private hospital will be a better choice for me.
Is Raffles Hospital charge as below (quoted from one bros here)
Total cost after medisave is about $1000 (cash)
Almost $700-$800 for surgery and 3 consultations: $100+$70+$70

Any recommendation of doctors, pls PM me.
