Thank you for your replies. I'm just wondering, if a WL has an STD other than HIV, is she given medication and allowed to continue working or is her license revoked?

Same here Bro, PT also my 1st legal joint. Then I tried KS and GL but I didn't like the style of operation. In PT I can choose the WL that I want and I find PT very convenient.

H12 and H16 IMHO are clean, near 2nd is H14.

If a WL has been found to have STD and/or HIV, AV will be alerted and the WL in question will be immediately deported. She will not set foot in Singapore to work again, ever.

How about those brothels in Desker/Rowell? Are the WLs also subjected to HIV & other STD tests?

For those who don't know, I'm presently overseas. I'm asking these questions on behalf of a friend in Singapore who seems rather reluctant to visit brothels.

All legalised brothels are subjected to the same requirements. But I wouldn't advice your friend to go to Rowell/Desker...

You're welcome Bro whacky.

When we say WL = Working Lady, they are licensed, meaning they are subjected to STD/HIV tests and mandatory health checks by the government. They also have to apply for a work permit to ply their trade.

So, be it Desker/Rowell, KS, GL or PT, all WLs will go for mandatory health checks.

But when we say FL = FreeLance, they are illegal and are not subjected to mandatory health checks. They do not have work permits and they are here in SG under Social-Visit passes (SVP).
