I might sound very mood spoilling but I just want YOU to know that being a Courts staff nowadays are not so easy, they only earn u 1% comm. out of the selling price... Basic pay are only $900... DO YOU UNDERSTAND THAT???

Not true, few of my friends work in Mega Mall IT Dept, they take home an average salary of $6000 per month. In Courts, the real commission comes from instalement plan, extended warranty, not forgetting spiff which can go as high as $200 per product. Additional income will be from Alibaba if you konw what I meant... During the good old days (2000 - 2003), take home pay can go as high as $8000 per month.

bro, face the fact la. now even promoter also earning less than 3k/mth. despite saying the fact that all the brands are cutting man power... do u know that sony promoter are only earning 1% comm from the monthly sales?? do u know that samsung promoter only have $600 for basic and even worse it's before cpf deduction...

even lg promoter cant get even 4k... dont bull shitting here la.... i'm a sales rep for japanese brand....

even the store manager are earning less than 3k/mth... and u r right courts are going for installment plans and ew but do u know by selling a sony 40" X series the incentive is only 10 buck plus a comm of $20... only earning u 30 buck...

i think i kinda agree with pte ng, maybe what tiger shark is talking about is about sales staff dealing with higher end products? I had friends selling copiers and what not and when times were good they can make up till tens of grands per mth in commission.

Frankly speaking, Spiff isn't high for Sony stuff, due to their popularity with the Baba... So far till now, had yet to hear complaint from my friends regarding huge pay cut cause one of them just upgaded to a new car, so I assume everyone is still doing fine.

If Samsung promoter only get $600/- basic, suggest to you that ask him to switch to mattress promoter. An average basic of $1500/- is guarantee for most brand. It is also a fact that supplier salesman don't earn as much as promoter. An average of 2% of the trade price is usually awarded as com to the sales person, but spiff given to promoter are usually few fold higher.
