the threadster, has gone round and round and trip after trip to ICA, AV, MOM and etc to find out what's the right way or how to get the visit pass for his gf or wifey after marriage....he did put in the effort to get things going but to no avail (at least he didn't sit in front of computer and play "Thee-shall-know-all")....he is now coming to this forum, hoping if there is any of those who have done it before (either successful or unsuccessful), can share their knowledge/experience on how to get it done or is it that can't be done at all.....

i have gone back and re-read his first post 3 times....well, i wasn't academically excellent and i have to admit that I failed my O level english, but still after third time reading his first post, that's what i understand.....

He said there is no rule that his girl cannot marry Singaporean.
He knows that there are many obstacles that will happen if want to apply for marriage and long term visit pass.

He knows many things what can be done and what cannot be done. And he wants to find out this answer

PM72 is right to say there is no rule which states that ex-GL Cat40WL cannot marry singaporean.......the WLs can still marry singaporean and register their marriage oversea, but the WLs may not be eligible for staying in singapore, on long term basis as well as enjoying other basic legal rights.....

personally, i wouldn't think what the WLs told u is true also, govt having policy restricting one's marriage right is probably an infringement of human rights which a first world country like singapore will probably not proud of....

Personally i do not see the reason of applying for anything here.Since best if social visits pass,then when time to go back,can go back see family.And come back to SG.

Why not you go check the passports of Cat40 girls and see what is chopped into their passport when they enter Singapore?
