As UK banks got the most exposure to Dubai trouble, the Dubai turmoil should have more impact to the Pounds and Euros, and conversely help US$ gaining since it came to the spotlight ten days ago.

BTW Yinyang, I believe we even talked about Dubai while having the pint last Christmas Night.

Yup...just that after we enjoyed rates near 24, can't help but feel a little sian.
