Well i will be going back with her in April next year to her hometown in Surigao Del Sur. Jan is only a short holiday break where we will meet some friends in Manila and spend the weekend clubbing at Padi's Point and The Fort hehe.

Yes my GF is from south in Surigao Del Sur...but its ok because i have constant communication with her family..especially her younger sister whos in final year college now. We are only going back to her hometown in April next year...January is only a short trip to Manila just to unwind and relax.

Well Fort is hyped but heard from close friends in Manila that alot of stars frequent that place..so just wana go there and have a feel of the place hehe.

Will check out those places you mentioned too bro if i have the time.

CLUBHOUSE of McKinley Hill Village, Upper McKinley Road, Fort Bonifacio www.hangout.com.ph is more upmarket - or they say.

The time I went to Icon - I felt out of place ... almost all were dressed in Designer - meaning not the D&G and Tommy Hilfiger Branding - I mean Chanel, YSL, Cartier, Gucci .. etc ..

And maybe that day I barged in at the tail end of a private event I think .. (drop me a PM and I can refer one of such organiser - they switch locations and exclusive invite-only events .. )

And enough tables had a Dom or A blue or Royal Salute .. not that they look down on me (I had a hottie arm candy - more platonic but helps to get jealous response from others .. )

Another place is Tabu at Legazpi Village - Makati .. nice chillout joint .. and classy .. and you can bump into famous people in Tabu

The fort? Ur talking of Bonifacio Global City or Intramurous? I know Bonifacio is ex. For that matter even Makati is ex and the restaurants at MOA facing the sea....

The best still IMHO is Roxas Boulevard and in addition Malate ( no i am not talking of LA cafe). there are lots of comedy bars and discos around there when i was there in May.

However if you are bold enough and prefer to venture out of the ordinary and trust your girl a helluva lot then venture into the towns like quezon, pasig, pasay (not edsa international complex) and you will have loads of fun.... The way the locals do....

I prefer to enjoy life the way the locals do.. The added plus is that you are dating all over again...
