condom have no statistics for how much protection you get due to 2 reasons.

1. quality of condom not uniform. (there are lousy cheepo types made in PRC)

2. difficulty of conducting tests (who's gonna volunteer to get poked by a HIC +ve guy?)

but use a good quality condom (kept in correct conditions) and used properly will give protection good enough

Actually, condoms are fairly reliable in protecting you against STIs. But it's not 100% guarantee, nothing in this world is 100% guarantee anyway. (except death lah ) Just have to use them correctly and consistently.
What dominion say has some truth. For condom to protect you against HIV, the condom must not break. Condoms kept in too hot or too cold conditions, the quality of the latex rubber deteriorate. So never keep condoms in the car (cash card also melt, you think condom leh), or in your wallet, your body also have heat. Best store in a cool dry place. Generally, all the condoms sold in proper retail stores in Singapore have passed QC and are safe to use. However, please don't use a condom that is too tight or too loose, it can break or slip off. Find a condom that suits you the best.
Put on condom, put it on properly. Make sure you don't trap any air under the condom teat before you roll it onto your dick. Just read the instructions that comes with the condoms that you buy. haha, even got picture leh.
Never use more than one condom at a time, don't think two or three layers means extra protection. The added friction between the rubber layers as you go in-out-in-out will actually cause the condom to break.

As for the condom statistics, if you want can look up UNAIDS. they have some statistics on the condom and how effective it is. There are couples around the world in long term active sexual relationships, where one of them is HIV+ and the other is HIV-. And the -ve one stayed negative.

think you're using the safest liao. durex extra safe is thicker, not so easy to break. Just read the instructions and learn how to put on properly so it won't break. Should be safe.
some ppl like okamoto, some ppl say ansell is not bad. up to u lor. durex is pretty safe, but some ppl complain its very 'dry' not enough lube. Don't need shy lah, you scared go watsons or guardian's condom section. look all you want without the pesky counter person staring at you.

But pls hor, some STIs spread through skin-to-skin contact. don't come and kpkb if tio genital herpes, cuz condoms don't cover your balls.

Think have to be extra careful nowadays... had 2 seperate encounters recently at WH where 2 different WLs almost rode me w/o cd... lucky i stopped to checked 1st... both were damn close encounters. TAKE NOTE: Check yr rubber is on before penetration!
