Case to case basis. Discounts are made as it is arranged between the Mamasan/agent and the customer. Bar dun own the girl 365 days a year. Girls come and go as they please.

But as a agent who handles coyotes, more often than not, the coyotes will find cock and bull stories to absent themselves from work. Probably cos I too lenient with them. But they often will give reasons return back hometown for a month to most Mamasans/in charge.

My conclusion is the girl probably wants to get the $$ and keep it for herself. Unlikely she will present the $$ to the Mamasan for the buyout.

Ask if she sideline girl or work salary.
If she sideline..can just stop work for a month. No need pay barfine.
If she works salary..she can inform her bar she stop work for 1 month after receiving her salary. Wont be penalised by bar.
Basically all gogos or bars operate this way for in house girls.

So the girl treating him like a customer.Nothing more. Thats my take.
