I think she was caught in a raid for illegal working and got blacklisted...dun think she can come in to sinkieland in any visa/pass for a period...estimate 5-year period and length depends on ICA...

I think you need to ask her to be honest and tell you the whole thing...definitely she was hiding some secrets...

The recent "sham marriage" cases had put Viet gals into shambles and may not be easy to get in as a single woman...

Great thanks for your prompt reply, no, she was not caught for doing anything notty, in fact, her other gf got through, only she was U-turn at changi airport late last year.

Guess her rejection at the changi airport last year was the reason her student application got rejected this time?

many gals get u-turn daily....each case is different...unless we knew exact reasons otherwise how to advise...

Most common case was she over-stayed her welcome in this land...😁

It is still up to the discretion of the front line officer to deny entry. Almost zero chance for her to come back the next few years. maybe can consider.. apply for preassessment of ltvp then see what ica say... if got chance then marry her in viet then come in with the approval from the preassessment. Then apply ltvp in sg.

If you not even considering to be with her, marry her etc... then don’t bother to do anything to help her come in. It will only tarnish your record with ica if you get involved.

Student pass applications that are rejected can be appealed - I know a few cases of such successful appeals. She needs to outline her study plans (how long, why, in pursuit of what qualifications) and most importantly - provide proof that she has sufficient funds right now to pay for living expenses and course fees for the entire duration of the course

The school should be able to advise what "sufficient funds" means, from what I have seen it is roughly the full course fees plus roughly $2,500 per month for rent and living expenses. Proof of funds should ideally be attached to the appeal letter and if these involve overseas documents (e.g. overseas bank statements) then they need to be notarized.

I will suggest u to fly and regularly rendezvous with her as her chances into SG is low of 1%.

If remember correctly, I have told a story before in this forum. I have a friend who was trying to win over a VN lady. This ger, her English was bad, so he made a lot of effort n paid for her to study English in British Council. After a year of effort and spending money, the ger spoke good English. Soon she got to know another man n stopped communication with my friend

Bro,

An appeal letter is just that - a well-written letter outlining her case plus supporting documents. If she succeeds she gets a Student Pass and when she is taken into the room upon landing at Changi she will just need to be consistent with what has been said in her appeal letter and make sure she has copies of all the documents. ICA needs to be satisfied that she is not here for vice activities and if she can show that she has enough funds for the duration of her course there is little reason why they will reject her again.

So, bro - its just the effort of writing the appeal letter for her basically. If you don't think its worth it then no point you'll not be able to see her here.
