We returned to the living room, Jasmine and Felicia were still talking about the incident.

Ann's words seemed to have hidden meanings, maybe I was too sensitive but I somehow felt it.

That day, I sent the girls to the respective station and terminal, and returned home. I did not contact Gloria even when she paged me at night, I guess I did not want to talk about it. But I forgot that there is something in this world called a woman's intuition.

The next morning, I went to school as usual and while playing basketball. Not one but two person came looking for me, it was Gloria and WeiQi. I looked at Gloria and she kept her head low, and the biggest surprise came as WeiQi called out to me asking me to go over the the sides of the court before she started talking to me.

WeiQi: Yang, last night Gloria told me what happened.

Me: So?

WeiQi: Can you don't be angry with her?

Me: Sorry hor, is she say want to break not I say want to break hor. (I regretted saying this, bad choice)

WeiQi: So if she don't want to break?

Me: How to? She want me to break ties with my brother leh.

WeiQi: I spoke to her already, I think I can still be friends with Ah Kai. There is no need for you to break ties with him. (Gloria was nodding beside WeiQi)
