Any adult travel with child below 12 years old need to show approval letter by parents if the child does not belong to the adult...

if the wife sister is banned from entering singapore...she will still be U-turn...child will be kept at airport till parents claimed the child...

Just get your wife to give her sister a signed approval letter indicating she will be traveling with your son with son full name and passport number....in the letter state her sister full name and passport number...

There has been some changes to the procedures for travelling with minors under 13 yrs not your own children. Due to SGP signing the UN HTA not so long ago...... if you are traveling with a minor who is not your own child.... you need to fill in an application form with both parents approval and have it endorsed by the embassy of the country where the child resides.

However, most border immigration officers "close" one eye to this requirement but if need be.... they can make life difficult for you if they decide to go by the book as now they have the law to back them up.

yes...child trafficking is on the rise...so each county immigration is very alert...

I have seen Airlines refused check in for young children at Changi airport without permission from parents....the airlines said pls get parental permission...airlines prevail in this case...

If a gal when being refuse to enter Singapore and get her all fingers stamp before sending back to her country , what is the chances for her to return here again

By the way she is not caught for doing anything just that the officers not convinced when she say come here to visit me and was refuse to enter

If what you state (highlighted above) then she may be allowed in after 6 months if she had not lived in Singapore more than 60 days...

The thing is this is her third trip to Singapore n eventually been asked to leave
