The way the police conducts themselves in this "raid" is very very very distasteful. Is this what they learn at the Police academy? They should find out the motive first before launching the raid. What are the recce team for? How on earth the police can charge in before the recce team say proceed?

In fact, the reporter should take pix of the police who stop the photographer from entering the non-existent parlour, where the police interrogate the Chinese lady who is not working there.

In fact, she can sue the police for harrassment. THere is no grounds why the police should interrogate her,despite the report saying that they are doing an interview. So what if they have warrant of arrest.Is this how they abuse their power? Why don;t they ask if the reporter is working there or is she disguising as a reporter?

These police are really doing things overboard. Sooner or later, they will get into trouble.

Is this how my tax money is being used?

Word of mouth will spread, and will tarnish the reputation. I think the officer in charge should write a report.

Geez, not many people knew about this.

Looks like the P Academy need to look into how they train the recruits, and how they deviate in real world after POP. Or are they under too much stress? Wanbao should call for a press conference and ask the Police spokesmen to say a few words at the scene. That will be embarassing.

Re-enactment of the spokesmen (not real, just a proposal):
"Today at xx.xxhr, our Anti vice team raided a TN outlet in xxx too hastily before the reccee team manage to discover some hanky panky action. We found only a 50 year old man, a Chinese national and 2 reporters in the TN joint. Our men asked the reporters to move out of the TN outlet so that they can investigate the identity of the couple. They are proven innocent and that is the end of our operation. Thank you and we shall not entertain any further queries from the media."

I am still utterly disgusted by how they behave in that "raid" which is uncalled for. A real waste of manpower, or do they have too much that they need to justify their actions to meet quota? That "raid" will project them as a real laughing stock, sad to say. It is like raiding an empty shell and try to find some scapegoats. The best part is, quick as they come, quick as they leave, in empty hands and embarrassment, if any.

Can you imagine their faces are on the newspapers. People now know who they are! A bunch of clueless policemen who stormed an empty outlet!

Please make sure our tax payer money are properly used. This is not the way to hit quota. I think they are the ones who need to cool down. They must be mentally exhausted. They need a break. "They" refers to the police, not the TN pdmms.

Hmm... given how resourceful humans are, there are bound to be new incarnations of the HC/TN model.

Just noticed the other day a TN joint I hadn't noticed before. Went up to have a look but it was completely empty. Thing is, it's completely new, or at least, everything looks that way. Even the curtains looked really new. Was it a case of a TN joint that closed even before it opened? Dunno. Strange thing was, the door was open and I could walk right up.

But you are right, bro... better be careful because you never know when everyone gets caught up in the fervour and the patrons get punished too. Reminds me of the time when a couple in Yishun kept making love with windows and curtains wide open. A large group of guys would crowd the opposite blocks but when the story broke, a lot of people said they were disgusted... my response was, if you are disgusted, don't see lah!

IMHO, this will only cause more FLs to stand around in Geylang.
