Try it and bought it for my boss regularly in Batam many times before and in substantial quantity too (3 boxes and up).

Do note that if you are buying anti-biotic, some pharmacy will need you to have doctor's prescriptions, even if you are a foreigner. Just a bit of extra info.

Your question depends on many factors. If inside ferry has many people, it won't be so cold. Like the recent 1st to 4th days of CNY whereby it keeps raining, i believe many inside of the ferry will feel a bit colder than usual.

My hotel room air-con during 1st few days of CNY 2023 was about average 27 degree Celsius. And i feel freezing-ly cold upon step out of bed to go toilet, hehehe...

Batam so cold until at about 40% staffs, of the hotel i stay in "feel" ill (and many went absence from work).

Everyone please be aware, Batam Horizon Ferry side has raised the price for 2-way ticket to 870k Rupiah unilaterally. As I did not have enough rupiah & money changer not open yet, they took $87 from me which is at least 960k Rupiah. Simply ridiculous!!

All these ferry operators are blood suckers! They raised ferry fares cos oil up. Now that oil slip they did not cut their fares. Fm $48 - current $73. Now they claimed need to pay staffs salaries. So unable to cut ferry fares.

So u learn a le$$on now. Always keep extra rupiah.

This trip, i actually got 2 of such. 1 comes with electric shocking function, the other didn't.
