oh ya, i got a neighbour about 40 yo and after he married a prc, ica ask him to furnish with reasons why he did not have income statement as he was doing odd job. he ask me to help him write, thats why i know ica got this requirement.

When i applied for my wife PR, she has only been in Singapore for 1 month plus. She also no formal education. But during the whole application process, i feel that there's 2 main areas that ICA is concerned about:

(1) ICA asked me to produce passport proof that i have been travelling to Vietnam for the past few years. They want photocopy of all the entry and exit visas that i had for Vietnam. ICA also wanted to know if this is the first time my wife is in Singapore. Also need photocopy of her vietnamese passport.

(2) ICA asked me to produce my Income proof and income tax and CPF contribution proof for the past 2 years. They also want to see all my educational certificates and also wanted a employment history of myself.

My wife got her PR in around 3 1/2 mths. That was some years back.

You need to produce past 12 or 15 month CPF statement and past 3 years Income tax return. Also need company letter stating your salary, date of join and job title.

Forget about the comment and focus on what you have for now. Such uncouth remarks will get his reprisal. I don’t understand why there are so many people having such hostile mentality against cross boundary relationships/marriages especially when it comes to partners from Thais, PRCs, Viets etc. From what I know, many have contacts with mainly WLs, FLs etc and not many really have to chance to live in their respective countries and learn their lifestyle, culture or even manage to speak their language and yet they can denounce people from these countries.

Moving on, you may see that many bros in the forum are sharing info based on the gals that they had physical contact with and not many are dealing with a serious relationship, not many are trying to develop a decent relationship as well, most are flings and one off transaction which some transcends to long distance relationships of cat & mouse chase and hide & seek game.

The point is that there are absolutely nothing wrong with having the other half from another country, but I do urge fellow folks who want to comment or even condemn do reconsider what you know about the scenario before even uttering even a single word. And do not ever classified every single girl from those countries as money sucking, easy woman whose main priority as fleecing your life saving. Remember that we are afterall in a sex forum, many experiences came from working ladies and such gals have a different mindset and mentality compare to others.

I have yet to do for mine yet.

My take is to have all the necessary documents ready when go to ICA as listed in the PR Application and lots of luck
