My logic for cutting it short is for 2 reasons (in such cases).

1. Pride... cannot take being a fool esp when it is so obvious

2. Love... regardless of what, the way I treat her will make her feel touched and somewhat guilty if she has to lie to me so if I condone her, this will make her more guilty

Key things... whatever she says or do here is not her real self. The environment is different, she has to entertain different man, be on the wary for AV and put up with changes to her hormonal patterns with NO family members or loved one to rely on.

When she goes back, it is her home and her friends, loved ones are all there... u may or may not become less impt.

Which is why I have held myself back for giving my GF my full love too till she is back to normal at home and we have a chance to evaluate our relationship on a more "real" setting.

Based on your comments, you have enlighten on a numbers of things.

GL is really a corrupting environment, what she may just show me is maybe just a portion of her true self regardless if it good or bad as in that environment I believe survival of the fitness rules, ones must learn to be on the defensive maybe to her asking me for $$$ is a way of being defensive.
