Think is all right down to personal style. I went to a thai massage which is clean and have a open concept. Is ok for me but my friend prefer something more cover up at least a curtain. Not because he want some rubba rubba, he is pai seh to let other see him in pain during massage. He got some back problem due to a accident. So is depend on each person.

in manila, philippines, there is one centre where they have 'open area'
and rooms. the open area is cheaper but they dim the light so you can
hardly see the next guy beside you.
for the rooms, it is more expensive and it is upstairs. but the rooms still
have small glass partition.
I used to frequent this place because most of the ladies are quite skill and
it is quite reasonable priced. also included is you can go into the 'wet area'
where they have sauna & steam and hot-pool. after that, you may request
one of the 'bath-girls' there to wash you up. again, they have the 'open area'
and the enclosed cubicles with curtain. no difference in charges though but
these girls depends on tips. market rate P100 to P200 is fine.

Like someone said just now, I think the legit business are the ones which are going to be hit as well. Then again, if they are legit, then they probably will do the necessary paper work and get on with it.

I feel that the problem with all the TN mushrooming all over the island is that it looks like a red light district in no time. At one time, TP was caked with so much foam that one would think it is GL. If that did happen in a HDB town centre, I think more people would stop going for regular business, and these business would shut down.

I'm sure most PDMM will find something else to do. After all, it is just easier to make money offering special stuff.

OK lah... I can do without partitions. Sometimes having partitions just makes the place very cramped.

Maybe people are not using the partition for special mah... maybe they want the privacy so they can sian the PDMM who is giving them massage. For me no problem... if the massage is good enough I usually fall asleep.

haha, gahment want to follow China style. Toilets without partitions. It was a horrific experience, for a first timer.

But as you get used to it, toilets without partition can foster communal bonding. THere was once I ended up chatting with the guys next to me while we shit together!
