Hi, may I know what is the implication if you are caught in a raid in Vietnam? I am a newbie here and have been reading quite a lot of posts in this thread but none has mentioned anything about the implications of being caught in a raid.

Last time I drove past about 2 weeks ago it was being renovated, not open again yet. I'm not in VN now so can not check myself. Oh you are there, so yes go have a look. THere's a shop cross the street from it on TTT street there that is D-Maxx too, and I imagine if you go in there and ask, they'll let you know when it will reopen. I'm not sure which parts of taht D-Maxx are open. Meant to go check but ran out of time. At one time it was a salon like Le Duyen, I think. Others here know much better than me, I never went. I do know it had tons of hot girls in dresses inside lounging around waiting for customers. Those girls weren't there when I've driving past recently, but maybe there's girls upstairs inside. Dunno. I think the big building on the corner is going to be the real deal tho when it reopens. Much bigger.

He made off with my phone when I turned around to walk to the atm. I have to admit it was a mistake on my part. I should have erected my defenses instead of my dick when I heard him saying he wanted to call the girl first. Luckily. I had some spare change and was able to find my way back.
Looks like my trip to HCM is going to be ruined this time. I'm not going to trust any viet gals and motorbike guys from now. Learnt the hard way. Hope all the bros don't make the same mistake as me.

Reading your story somehow recall my experience back in Oct. One late night coming out from Dai Nam Massage and walking back to my hotel along PNL, two ladies in bike came out to me and ask if i wan massage and boom boom(sex). bro just go to bui vien street, walk along the street, see bar that have many girls sitting around, look who you like, chat with her, buy 1 or 2 drinks, nego price, bring back hotel, deal done, fail safe. other common sense safety & money precaution applies.

From the first day i start to visit vietnam, i lucky i have frends who have been in that playground so i never have much problem. Maybe go to war museum the coconut guy try to scam me lol.....
But for my experience for travelling often this year , i mean like nearly every month to taiwan vietnam and bkk. First rule must be alert and careful no matter what , never give a chance for someone you dont know get hold of your stuff.
Even someone you just know can con you, happen to my frend which the viet steal thing and push to him....
My frend always remind me never play phone on the road as they will snatch when ride pass you, which i always caution cause i use google map a lot to find road sometime.
What i want to say to this bro, take this as a lesson , it can happen elsewhere than vietnam, as you go often you find it not hard to know girls there may it be working ladies or uni girls. That for my experience i have up till now. Start playing since last year. Now start heading other parts of vietnam rather than HCM

Just to share my experience.
If first time there do not order whisky or hard liquor to show off. Have also seen others who drank whisky from a tea cups. The bill will be high as it is whisky but be prepare the whisky is fake. you can drink the whole bottle and you still will not get high.
It doesn't matter who you are with, I was there with some locals and vietkieus.
