It is in fact easier to gauge the truthfulness of ML through face to face interactions. At least for me I am more comfortable talking when seeing a person's expression.

When you are seeing just words, it is more difficult. Example online forum with men/boys/girls who I have never met or seen before hiding behind screens. Honestly interaction face to face with a ML has more authenticity.
