Sis, you find a mosque in Batam, look at the top round roof, there u find a fair answer to your question. A Dome is always holy to Pak P. Or maybe Pak P think about holely.

yes batam is always as sleepy as ever
especially day time
that is minus the massage...gals...karaoke...discos
thats why i go to nongsa when i am very boring
i can fish...hunting...go to seaside...play basketball...football to sweat abit
visit the kampongs...kampongs brothels...haha...looksee looksee
you will be very shocking the locals pays them

Batam is sleepy now, and will return to normal slowly after hari Raya.

Unless you have some business here, days are slow, and the fun places are still in Nagoya/Jodoh area, for all the massage, KTV, discos.

Food wise, you can bet it is much cheaper than in Jakarta. And better too.

All brothers here talk about Batu Bersa rezeki, forgotten about Golden Prawns and Punggol one liao?

Of cos, there are many more out in Barelang, and they are cheaper too. Some very ulu ulu, and there is a beach at Galang( opposite vietnam side), called mutiara? Cannot remember the name, where water is pretty clean to swim and nice also.

Not to forget the number of resort for golfing and high class hotels where you can be pampered too.... For those who want to go to relax and enjoy with spouse.... Nongsa Resorts, Harris, Holiday inn, etc.....

There are nice ones for quiet get away, with own bunglow at KTM sekupang at 600k +++ rupiah per nite. Not sure about the rates nowdays. Can fish there too... Overall, Batam has many places to relax, just depend on what you want.....
