Most of those left in the showcase are not nice. If you are lucky, you find one or two nice ones whose regulars did not turn up or, a newbie girl just arrived to work in which case you are lucky.

If you find the Dynasty Karaoke, you have headed in the wrong direction to the right.

In Batam booking places, the overall ratio is like this:

3% OK to nice and 97% CMI. Sometimes 100% CMI (my opinion)

For you to book the nice girls you have to know them and their names etc. Most of seasoned regular punters sms directly to the girls to reserve and tell them to inform the boss. I used to to that.

I would share some names and numbers but I have stopped going there too long to be of use to you on that.

Best, hire a taxi for a full tour of all booking joints and DO NOT BUY.

Make secret notes in your handphone and collect name cards of the establishments quietly. Later when you get rid of the taxi, you can go there without them and drop off at least 50 years away. The joints are located in small groups by location anyway. Once in the locality, you can walk to all in same area.

I did that when I first went there. Resist all temptations and being pushed to buy by the taxi. Pay him the appropriate amount for the tour e.g. negotiate an hourly rate - should be between 30,000 to 40,000 an hour maximum and guarantee him two hours. They need you more than you need them. In 90 to 120 minutes, you should be able to cover all the regular booking joints in Batam.

Remember, when you do go back, negotiate for your net rate quietly, not in front of other customers or they will not agree.

Finally,
Try the 2nd floor Pub of the Island Garden (not sure if Garden or View) at the Penuin locality. Go exactly at 7.45 pm. Earlier the girls are not there yet and too late, all nice ones taken. Their collection used to be around 10 - 15 girls each night available. Some of their girls recruited from the Kota Indah type places in Jakarta. I met quite a few from there.

Used to be good with 50/50 ratio of nice to not so nice and less CMIs than normal booking joints. Price for allnighter LT is 500,000 no commissions paid to taxis and all so taxis will bullshit you closed etc etc and try to send you elsewhere. This used to be the best booking joint in my opinion, Today I have no idea as I am out of touch!

I think the other FR called it Hotel Island Garden. I will check it out with the hotel reception. I found the address for Sedona Karaoke at Pub Blok B Nagoya Sqaure. It must be the same one. It looks like this Komplex has several pubs.

Just got back from Fuckland. Confirmed place is swarming with polisi operating out from Jakarta. All joints are closed. I went there at the wrong time - day I arrived was day the 'operasi' started. But since already there, my regular 'driver' took me to look for lobang. Eventually finally found outlet still operating in restricted mode. No ceweks at the Lounge but we had to go to the boss's hotel to pick the cewek from a photo album. Naturally all the hot-looking ones were taken up. Left with a handful available. A brief FR on my trip to Batam last weekend.

Arrived at Harbour Bay on Friday evening and was impressed at the new facilities as well as the lack of high-pressure touting by taxi drivers compared to Sekupang or Batam Centre. The cabbies who wait directly in front of the exit won't settle for less than Rp. 30,000.- for a 10 min. trip to Jodoh/Nagoya.

Had booked Hotel Utama based on a recommendation by Bro DexDJ and was very pleased. Those of you who are familiar with Balai - its comparable to Hotel Maxi in terms of quality, although Utama has the added facility of a Gym/Fitness Centre which I did not get a chance to check out. Front desk staff is mostly Indo Chinese girls and are quite chio, although I didnt have the desire or patience to sian them. When I called earlier in the week they didnt have a standard room over the weekend so I negotiated a deluxe room at 10% discount for Rp. 277,200.- nett per night including breakfast each morning.

Location-wise you need a taxi or ojek to get to most places of interest. Its walking distance only to DC Mall, which is one of the newer malls in Batam. The mall has one or two money changers on the ground level.

Went to Pacific (cab Rp. 20,000.- for trips within Jodoh/Nagoya area is usual rate, although locals probably pay 10-15,000.-) and it was packed with many people milling about outside. Realized that the FLs mostly operate on the periphery - they stand along the 2 bars on either side of the main hall and at the back, although I think I spotted one or two trannies at the back! You definitely have to make your rounds to see who's available. The place is loud, smoky and dark so if you spot someone you like you have to move closer.

It wasnt long before I spotted my target for the night. A chio SYT who was being approached left right and centre by guys but didnt seem to catch (mistake no. 1 - you'll know why later). Mistake no. 2 was that we did not negotiate any rate at this point. Reni is from Jakarta and works at a factory in Batam for peanuts and only works when she 'needs money'. We walked out of there hand-in-hand at about 1:30 am and well... you guessed it - she turned out to be a boring lay. No BJ, showed little emotion while horizontal and stereo sound was on mute. sigh... kicked her out at about 9:00 am as I was expecting my regular girl. Stuffed Rp. 250,000.- in her pocket and some loose notes for a taxi. She went into the bathroom to freshen up and stormed out shortly demanding Rp. 500,000.- !! OK OK I was an idiot but I gave her what she wanted in order to get rid of her. My regular girl was arriving in an hour and I didnt want any trouble.

Anyway, sometimes I take the chance and don't negotiate any rate with a FL because when I have done so in the past I was pleasantly surprised (sometimes they say 'up to you' in the morning but the jackpot is when you score an FOC!). Guess it didnt work this time!

No details about the second night as I was with my regular girl.
