Actually for those brothers who are on a budget tour, more adventurous and have plenty of time to spare and are enthusiastic to explore Batam can actually consider walking to the hotel and joints.

However this does not apply to those cheongsters who are on a luxurious tour who want to stay in good hotel and wanted to have maximum enjoyment.

If possible try to avoid hiring supir for one whole day. Or else you will be charged for a higher price by the joints for booking cewek due to supir commission (about 50k-100k) and furthermore may subject to kena chop carrot by the supir for taxi fare too. Taking cab for one way journey and negotiate for the fare is advisable.

Batam joints, food courts, malls and hotels are mostly concentrated within a 1 km radius. Formosa/Lovina area being the most centralised location enjoy the convenience of going to the following 10 pick-up joints within walking distance:

Formosa - Alishan KTV (inside hotel level 4)
Formosa - Dynasty 99 (1 min walk) beside centrepoint
Formosa - Queen 8933 (2 min walk) opposite Dynasty
Formosa - Berry indah (3 min walk) behind Queen
Formosa - New Berlian (3 min walk) near lucky plaza
Formosa - New Flamingo (5 min walk) behind centrepoint
Formosa - Memory (5 min walk) north towards Lucy oar house
Formosa - Dynasti 1 (7 min walk) behind Goodway hotel
Formosa - Goldbird (8 min walk) near Lailai/Batamstar hotel
Formosa - Permata Indah (10 min walk) south towards windsor foodcourt

Harbourbay shopping centre to formosa merely require a 15-20mins walk which bro yaz 86 managed to do it. For me takes roughly about the same which is 20 mins.

However if stay at other locations like DC mall area, Penuin area or Pelita area, then you may need a cab to bring you to the hotel as the distance from harbourbay terminal to these areas are abit too far leow...

At least DC mall area still got 2 pick-up joints which are PI (Permai Indah) and Massage 82 within walking distance from hotel utama/hotel pagoda/hotel romance. So maybe no need to go other area to hunt for cewek if you stay in one of these hotels.

Any brothers know which ktv use touchscreen for song selection, most batam ktv use remote controller very troublesome.
