i am staying at island garden now. Per night 255k. Price increased. Overall i am happy with the hotel. Not so crowded, nice breakfast, location near to bcs mall, massage and top 10. Walking distance. I was there on the 25/Oct - 27/Oct. went to WTC to get a ferry ticket wow so pack went there in the morng but can only dep 1620 hrs.

Ya bro they look like 100% chinese white but very surprise that they don't speak abit of chinese only Bahasa Indonesia, Have meet some chinese in A1 and winsor food court those chinese selling food there speak chinese. Some of them SYT too bad unable to hook them.

Yes, Bahasa Indo(malay) is picked by then Suharto for the whole of Indonesia. It is much easier to learn. Jawa is totally out for me. Surabaya is home to some of the richest Chinese in INdonesia too.

Hello, if you are asking for trouble, try to hook them.

There are places where you can look for SYT or MILF or CMI. But never try to hook them at places where it is not right. I believe this had been discussed before.

hi bro. I just making a survey to see which favourite hotel for you guys while in batam with a moderate price. Just share our opinion. For me, i like amir harbourbay , island garden and melia panorama. Price range from 40-50 sin per night. Island garden is about 40 sin and the room is clean and nice and surrounding is calm and relax. Near to mall and massage but no bathtub. Amir room is very nice with bathtub but if i want to take taxi outside, i need to walk a bit coz hotel taxi starts from 35k , while from outside i can bargain. Amir is 44 sin. My driver brought me to grand majestic but too crowded at the lobby. Didnt like it .

Oh Yes, RIAU islands have a sizable population of chinese. Teo Chew is a common language there. Many of the chinese are picking up chinese thru private tuition. You will be surprised. there is even a chinese radio channel, mix with malay at times.
