Just read letter fm my wife lawyer. Transfer of hdb flat around end jan. Under time frame.

The parties will apply to the hdb to sell or transfer the defendant in the flat by;
Within 6 weeks/months of the grant of the final judgement.

So, i will get the last letter end jan + 6 week+ 3 mths=around may?

Went to hdb for appt. When hdb admin staff ask my wife for final judgement, i was stunned.. Turn out that she collected the letter at june. The chee by staff at hoh corporation never send me my copy.. Can complain abt this?

I have a query about splitting HDB flat. How to prevent one party (especially wife) to "overtake" husband property during divorce? I mean, is there a legal way to prevent/restrict wife from taking the entire flat away (when buying a HDB flat) in the event of divorcing?

The reason I am asking is, divorce is so common nowadays in Singapore. It is a safety precaution for men to keep their assets (in this case, HDB flat), just in case divorce takes place and unknowingly "murdered" by wife.

I have seen and pity lots of men being tortured. Women get back to men with hatred and squeezed them unmercifully when coming to divorce.

Only way is to sell it off and depending on how the family cock rule, normally it split 50/50.

Need your advice here...

My wife is giving me the care and control of our only son from Sunday 5pm to Sat 12pm. She told me that under Singapore law, care and control means that during my care, our son expenses including medical, food and etc shall be all paid by me and I cannot demand her to share the cost.

She will only take care of the expenses during her care.

Is this correct? The custody of the child is shared 50-50.

If this is correct, I find this law needs to be fucked! In this case, isn't both parents be responsible for the well being of the child?
