Issue with ICA

Case 1:

If you guys still remember about the case I share about the house raid where a few of my wife's friend was deportedback to VN ...

Few days ago, 1 of them successfully enter Sillypore without prior application of visit pass after her 9 months ban period ..... she came in on her 10th month

Case 2:

This gal never got ban, however was not allowed to enter Sg last month ... so was sent back to VN, try again after 1 month, last night was successfully allowed into Sg ...

Thanks for sharing Bro. I guess this is the advantage of not needing to apply for entry visa prior to visiting SG, there is always chances of ICA ppl slacking during the point of entry check, which is beneficial to us of course if the girl manage to come in

But 1 thing i am curious, in the immigration card that the girls need to fill, will they state that they were previously deported from SG due to blar blar blar..

This is what i heard, could be wrong. Actually a visit pass is only essential for applicants that intend to visit SG while still under a ban period. Upon approval of the visit pass, then only they can proceed to make arrangement to come SG (with or without entry visa depending on country). However if you are aware the period where ur ban ends, u can actually just try to come in after that. But again, not many would choose to take this risk.

This was what happen to 1 of my house kopi shop guy. He's from Msia, got ban 1 years due to illegal working, after 1 year he just try come in from Wdlands checkpoint. ICA officer stopped him at checkpoint, but after checking, told him that he can enter as his ban is over, but make sure he dun commit offence again. His boss went through proper procedures, got him a wrok permit and he has been working here for coming 1.5 years already.

New Case update ....

My wife's friend came last night but then was sent back and issue a refused letter with 1 year ban ....

Never have problems, never ban before ....

Suspected reason :

The guy's address that she put in the DE card could be a married man ..... therefore was refused entry .... similar to the case 2 years ago that I shared ...

Just to share .... be aware when you have gals that are coming here ... tell them to find so-called bf carefully .. else it will jeopardise their chance of coming in ....

In this case, his ban was by MOM and not by ICA. Therefore, no need to Pply for permission from ICA before coming in.

THe DE Card do not ask for details whether you are ban anot ...

All details are in the system .... once your details are key in, all informations about the person are out, so if you are banned , then you wait for the next flight home

In a logical approach, once ban period is over, the person can enter Singapore .. however, under the r&r of ica that it is still based on the discretion of the officer, they can still refused your entry .....

Usually people who apply for visit pass are those with some connection in Singapore meaning, got husband, got boyfriend and etc ...

For the case that I mentioned, this girl did not apply for entry pass and choose to risk is because she do not want to let her bf know she come here work else her bf will not let her come ... coz during her ban period of 9 mth, her bf has been supporting her ...

Eveything happens for a reason .... so plan ahead and avoid .....

my girlfriend vietnamese is coming in at May.. me n her will be coming in to singapore to get married.. i have prepared the rom documents to show ICA..

previously she was not rejected entry before.. just to ask are there any other forms which i may fill up to show ica?

My gal and I plan to get rom soon and I have apply for her to come over. but was reject last fri. but frm the advice of the ica officer she ask me to resubmit my document again, so today I went to put appeal with all the mention document less rom date. will tis put on harm and they say appeal take abt 2 week, which I find it very sustandard coz previously when I apply for my gal to come 2 time. both time was rejected initially but during appeal I demand to speak to the AP officer and for both time I spoke to him my appeal was approve in less then a day. but today I again demand to speak to ap officer again. then the lady give lots of excuse. so ll have to go hm.

Me facing similar problem getting approval.

MP also tried 2 time but kena rejected. running out of options...

AP officer = approving officer
i'm nt sure if can help u or nt coz including tis time it will b my fourth time applying my gf to come. the first 2 time I demand to see the approving officer and I reason wif him and he immediately approve it. the 3rd time I used mp letter and got rejected. only later was told a govt sector dun use mp letter will b a better choice coz by using mp the ica will go into detail of ur application so by giving them more work do u think they will give chance to ur case? think abt it

some say go MP. Some say dun go MP... confusing confusing...

sometimes i think ICA just chuck cases aside without feelings....

we are just a reference number to them....


anyway whats wrong with your GF? why need to apply?

NOTHING ... ROM documents is more than enough ...... the only document that need to fill in is the DE card .. else no forms ...

even if got forms, also need to submit for approval prior to arrival and not during arrival ...

Bro,

Just to differ a wee bit. ICA does not chuck cases aside. They look at the merits of giving entry to someone into Singapore.

You can submit to ICA your merits DIY, through MP or legal appeal. You can explore all these options or choose the option you prefer.

My gf is prc so very mafan to get her to come overbut love her so still have to everything possible to let her come over lor. I can understand hw u feel coz I have been wat u r nw. ask many ppl and got many version of advice, end up I almost give up too but in the end I tell myself must do things my own way and yet is in line wif the r&r in tis way b it which govt sector they can find fault wif u. they must follow the rules but some rules is to our advantage use wisely we can turn the table round.
