For those tourists ICA made to U-turn, possible to have finger print stored just in case they tried enter using different passport which is a crime if not declared...

She did not commit any thing bad just that the officer not satisfied with her answer . The next thing she know is that all her fingers get stamped . She tried to call me but was not allowed

Just today she wechat me thinking of coming again but don't know is it possible . Or maybe getting a student pass an alternative ??? No idea on this

You are not related to her and makes no diff...worst if she has your NRIC and full name...ICA can check if you are married...

If she knew about student pass lobang means she may not be telling you the truth about her U-turn...

Unless you are making alot of money and think of keeping her a year or two years then be prepared to fork out few k per semester...btw if you kena caught working illegally her student pass will be cancelled and she deported...money down the drain...

She don't have my particular coz afraid the if anything happen to her I be in trouble

I just a normal blue collar worker so not able to support her school fees

Anyway if she want to come as a student this is the risk she need to take

I think the bro is mistaken.
The procedure is for the ICA officer to scan the fingerprints of the visitor and cross check with the database before deciding whether to allow/deny entry. This is common in almost every country border control points. Some will also ask you to look into a camera to capture your facial features into their database besides your fingerprint scans.

How Long before I dunno, but 6 years ago, they have already done this. My wife , gf then, was photo and fingers stamped.
