Yo Bro,

I am sure many of you out there thot of quiting smoking. I personally had tried and failed many times. However the "ever say die" spirit in me still wanna try.

The only way to motivate me now is to choose SEX OR SMOKE. Which will you choose?

Facts: On average 40 packets of PALL MALL per month
COST : 40 X $10.20 = $408.00

OPTION:
A) COntinue Present sex activity : $80 per month for FL (once a month
only  ), Wif GF 3 times a month (FOC)
For 4 times a month, room cost will be $80 (hotel81 only)
Total cost on Vices : $408.00 + $80 + $80 + $4(CD) = $572.00

B) Assuming I quit smoking, ideal case will be :
(5 X $80 FL) + (3 times GF) + (8 X $20 room) + ($15 for CD) = $575.00

Both seem equally great to me, cant decide.
HAi......

What will you choose? ANy factors I left out in my equation for consideration.

Regards,
CONFUSED

What i would suggest, though you may not need the sex part (or not as frequent), it is still good to QUIT smoking! Start off with that Nicorett Chewing Gum, I heard from friends that it helps. For me, quit after smoking for near 20 years....on cold turkey and with very strong will power. This is my 2nd trial in recent years and I succeed. Now, an ex-smoker, last smoked 2.5 years back.....

Cheers bro, you can make it!

Anyway, it is just too expensive to smoke here....

Simple lah. smoking leads to higher risk of cancer and all the crap nicotine related illnesses, which means (to some extent) inevitable cash outflow over the longer term.

Bro, ur analysis damn b.s. Go fl also can kena all those std. So how? :D

Cost of medical treatment not cheap these days.

Tough one but I will still go with sex. At least with sex you can write FR and re-live those fond memories again by reading it. You just can't do that with a cigarette.

Agree with you bro Nicorette Chewing Gum does help. There is another one which is also Nicorette but its in the form of ciggrette type where you put a small cartridge into a tube given. Just smoke as if you are lighting up a cigg. It cost about $25 and you can buy it t any guardian pharmacy. One box has 18 cartridge if I am not wrong. I am still using now and it feels great cos when my friends are smoking I and too but with this Nicorette of cos. Hope it helps for anyone whom wants to quit smoking. But I guess a strong will still play a major part in you quiting.

Thanks for the advise.

I tried the gum thingy before, but in the end I ended chewing the gum and smoking at the same time.

I guess it is an issue of will power!!! To be frank I dunno what to do as well. Tried so many times.

I realised that I can at most dun smoke for 4 days Max. At the end of 4 days the urge can really kill!!!

Hmmmm.... New equation .... Every 4 days FL once .. haha
30 days a month .... divide by 4 days ... 8 times a week.
Cost calculation : (8 X $80) + (8 X 20) + 15(CD) = $815 !!!
Wa Liao ..... smoking seem cheaper ....

It's a no-brainer bro, wat with the skyrocketing cost of ciggies here
n its accompanying negative effects. Its not easy to stop tho but
all it takes is Will Power. I did it with one big effort (cold turkey) after
a 20-year habit. And remember, smoking effects the libido ie. u ll have
a low sex drive. Ahhhhh.....

For me, i enjoy puffing after sex. So from ur equation abv, more sex means more puff too :p

I really think to quit smoking is difficult lah, maybe u can try cut down the no. of sticks/day 1st. I used to smoke abt 30 sticks a day, now i diedie maintain 1 packet a day at the most, am still trying to cut down to 15 sticks a day. Maybe this method will be easier for u too?

Can start from cutting down 5 sticks a day.
example ; 5sticks = $2.50. 1mth is 150 sticks = $75

$75 also abt one FL mah. so motivate urself to cut down 5 sticks a day for an extra FL every mth, hehe :D

used to smoke last time but perhaps the smell doesn't suit me and the song-ness doesn't apply much to me and so if i also got smoke and with my low income, i guess i have to choose between one, i will still take sex coz the feeling is just too good compared to smoking.

In order to have both side of the coins, I think you should reduce your bonking to 50% and your smoking to 50%, in this case you can bonk and smoke at the same time.

yo bro bignround

If u choose sex, u will still end up smoking becos to smoke after having sex is a must for smoker. Therefore cost will be $(sex) + $(cigar) = $$

If u choose smoking, u still can pcc. Cost will be pcc + $ (cigar) = $
Much cheaper ah :D

Well, it happened so that I was so sick that very day, down with flu, cough and sore-throat....visit the doc and told me better not to smoke. I still had got 2 sticks of cigarettes, thrown them away but keep the lighter (just in case I thot) but after a few days, I thrown that lighter. WILL POWER is the answer, the gum is to help to ease your craving. Give yourself 3 days, after that extend to 3 weeks, then to 3 months.....and I'm on my way to my 3rd year of quit smoking. Get away from people who smoke, stop yourself from going to places like pub for the time being. Eat more fruits, less coffee and put on your jogging shoes again for some regular excerises. You may encounter some re-drawal symptoms, but you will find that you have less phlgem in the morning after a few days. Lungs are stronger and clearer, and breathing is better, and no more strong cigarette breath when you talk.

Just something to share if bros here are married, how would you teach your children telling them that smoking is bad for you, but the papa himself is smoking? I came across this and my little ones asked me back : If smoking is bad, then why are you smoking??? Hmmmm.....well, i saved at least S$10.00 each day for them.....

i believe and agree this is the best way to quit the smoke. the places you go and the friends you hang out with play a big part. just like if your close friends are all studious and you follow them go library and community center, you'll also end up with a few A grades.

smoking is being seen as a social ill these days. its no longer cool to be seen smoking except in those "vice" places like pubs, disco, health centers etc... but having sex in the staircase or public toilets will remain the in thing for many years. :D

Smoking has nothing to do with sex and sex has nothing to do with cigarettes.
If "saving" money (so you can have extra cash for sex) is your motivation for wanting to quit smoking , you aint gonna make it .
You wanna quit , think positively , be strong .:)

i normally have a good puff after sex, be it gf, or wl or outside...

if u wanna use it as a motivation for you to quit smoking, then by all means.

i would choose sex :)

thats a nice one :) . I remember I used to want to light up a ciggi when I am enjoying a blowjob...

But what I am saying is that we got to have the correct motivation to quit smoking and not because we want to give up smoking so we can have more money for sex..

Bro, more money for sex can also be a great motivator imho, n altho money always have a way of finding its way out of our pockets somehow or other, just thinking abt the lump sum u save annually, half the battle wud
ardy be won. Cheers & bonk more, smoke less.

its a tough choice, been smoking for past a decade, don't think i can literally put the brakes on for that. but i've been told that; the results show when you make do with less tar in the system.

do the math, smoke less means more budget for sexcapades... more sex... more endorphine surge. testosterones in check, maybe less chance of balding too.
